(Hailey POV)
"WHAT DO YOU MEAN?"
"I DON'T KNOW JAKE! MAYBE YOU SHOULD JUST GO!" I croaked
"Fine I'll go then, damn." Jake had tears in his eyes.
I didn't mean it, i didn't want to do this. I love him! I really love him!
He walked out the door slamming it behind him. I fell to the floor crying.
I bitched at him for the dumbest thing, i told him he was out too late, when really I didn't want to be alone. I didn't care how long he was out. I just was afraid of being alone.
-30 minutes later-
I couldn't take it any longer I call Jake praying he answers.
"What do you want now?!" He sounded annoyed.
"Jake..I didn't mean it, p-please come home.." i croaked.
Jake sighed
"It's all me in my head, I'm the one who burned this down. But it's not what I meant.. sorry that I hurt you!" I sobbed.
"Hailey.." he started
"I don't wanna lose this with you! It's all me, just please don't go.." I finished in tears.
"I'm coming back.." he said.
-10 minutes later-
A key turned in the door as Jake walked in, looking hurt and defeated.
"Jake.." I ran into his arms, resting my head on his shoulder.
"This happens too much, doesn't it?" He sighs.
"I just have this trust problem, you know that." I managed to say.
"You know you can always trust me, princess.." he said.
"This might be weird, but for future reference... when this happens, when I say leave just know I don't mean it." I sighed
"In that case I must say, you're still mine, we'll be just fine, even when you lose your mind like this. It's not your fault, you're all I want, even if you break my heart. He kissed my forehead.
"Sorry baby.." I smiled.
Hopefully this never happens again.
