It was a cool autumn night in the town of Rosemeadow, and 21 year old best friends Jake Sterling and Hailey Austin were walking down main street.
J- wanna hit up that new bar?
H- The one on Milliot Avenue?
J- yeah that one!
H- sure, why not?
J- wanna walk there?
H- walk and Uber back to our houses.
J- smart choice
H- I'm genius.
Both- *laugh*
A few minutes later
H- I kind of regret walking here.
J- It wasn't that bad!
H- whatever, I need a margarita and sleep.
J- *laugh* you say that now but after 3 of those things you'll be lost.
H- eh, that's fine too.
Bartender- Hi! What can I get you guys today?
H- your best kind of margarita please!
J- uh, I'll take a Bud Light.
Bartender- alright I'll bring it right out!
-A few drinks in- (changing up the writing style on ya)
"Yaknow I think I love you" Hailey smiled crookedly.
"Ya sure it's not the drinks you're in love with?" "No, definitely you~"
"Okay"
"Okay"
Jake looks at Hailey sideways "wait, does that mean like I kiss you?"
Hailey looks back at him "I think... if you want to"
"Okay."
-They kiss-
"Hailey, can I say something?"
"Okay"
"I think I love you too"
-the next day-
Hailey wakes up back at home and rolls over, not wanting to get up. She was really hungover. As she opened her eyes she spotted a familiar face in bed next to her.
"JAKE!" She screams
"WHAT? HUH?" He jumps up
"OH MY GOD, HOW DRUNK WERE WE?"
"Uh, I just woke up hold on.."
Hailey sighs, blushing a crimson red
"ohh I remember! You said you loved me, we kissed I said I loved you, then uh.. I forgot" Jake was still recollecting as much as he could
"Well you managed to end up sleeping in my bed, so clearly a lot of that story is missing"
"At least we're not in some dumpster around the back of that building!" Jake replied sarcastically
"Whatever, I've got to get to work. I may be hungover but I can't call off today." Hailey groaned
"Okay princess, just don't overwork yourself" Jake smirked
"I won't!" Hailey was blushing again
"Hey Alexa, Play Midnights by Taylor Swift" Hailey spoke to the little device on her shelf
"Now if you'll excuse me Jake, I will be getting ready as if you aren't here. Stay or leave your choice!" Hailey said in a weird accent
"I should head out, I guess.." Jake replied sadly
"Alright.." Hailey answered
"Uhm.. Love you.." Jake smiled
"I- Love you too.." Hailey smiled back
Jake leans over to Hailey and kisses her lightly on the lips.
"I think there's been a glitch.." Hailey giggled
"It's one of those helpful glitches! The ones you keep to yourself so they never get fixed." Jake says sarcastically
*laugh*
"Alright, see you later.. princess~" Jake smirks as he leaves
Hailey couldn't believe that any of this had happened, but she wasn't ever going to stop it. It felt so perfect.. But yet she worried that they had no chance like this.

They released it wasn't even a glitch, or even a slight malfunction. They realized it was romance even if they thought they had no chance.
