Chapter 9

Grace P.O.V

I woke up to the sun shining in my eyes, groaning I turn around only to freeze when I feel body heated coming from both sides of me. Opening my eyes, I see Aaron and Spencer on either side of me. Last night coming running back to me

I dropped, or at least half dropped but I did for the first time in my life. Usual if you find your mate young you don't show signs of Dom and Sub until your 16, but I always knew I would be a sub. I might be strong on the outside but inside I need help. 

I cuddle more into Aaron chest when I heard the bedroom door open and Derek walks in "Hey, your up" He smiled at us before brushing my hair out of my face "I made breakfast if your hungry" I smile before wiggling my way out of Aaron and Spencer hold 

Derek sets a plate of bacon and eggs in front of me "Coffee?" I shake my head, not a fan of coffee. Derek grabbed his plate and sat next to me we eat in silence. I don't know what to do or say, I've never thought I would be with my soulmates and now that their here with me I'm a little scared

"Not much of a talker?" I looked at Derek, noticing he was watching me I sighed "I never thought I would be talking to my mates. I don't know what to say" I told him honestly I have no idea how to even be in a relationship 

Derek took my hand in his "How about after your competition today, we come back here and talk. Get to know each other" I thought about it for a while, it could help me get over this fear I have. I know I won't be fully comfortable for a while but I have to start somewhere

I nod my head "Yeah... Yeah I would like that" Derek smiled at me before going back to eating. Soon enough Aaron and Spencer walked through the door "Morning" Derek and I smiled at them "There's extra food for you two" Derek nods to the counter where two plates of food sat

"Thanks" Spencer muttered as Aaron and him took a seat across from us "So after Grace competition we'll come back here and talk. Get to know each other better" Derek informed them. They both paused and looked at me making sure I was okay with this, "It's fine" I tell them biting my lip before looking at my plate 

Spencer P.O.V

I look at Derek with an raised eyebrow, I can tell Grace is still feeling the effects of half falling into sub space. It's how I reacted the first time but since she only fell half way there is no telling how she will act after she falls completely

"When does the competition start?" I asked her softly "Starts at 9 ends around 10" Grace whispered playing with her food. I nod and go back to eating but watch her from the corner of my eye to make sure she's eating 

Ringing breaks the silence, Grace rushes into the bed room to grab her phone "Hello?" I hear her answer "Ethan hey baby, how's the trip going?" Grace walks back into the kitchen "That's good. I hope your being good for River and Ben" She took a quick look at us "Uh...Yeah buddy, I did... Yes they're very nice" 

Grace has a shy smile playing on her lips as Derek, Aaron and I watch even though we only met a day ago they couldn't help but start to love the little things she does and it helps that Roxy is a big fan and is always telling them things about her 

"Alright buddy, stay safe and listen to River. I love you" Grace hangs up the phone sitting next to Derek again "Sorry it was Ethan" Aaron smiles at her "It's okay he just wanted to talk to you" Grace sighs if relief I guess she was scared we wouldn't like Ethan even after everything happened

Her fear is reasonable though most people hate Ethan and her sister is trying to kill him "I have to start getting ready to leave" Grace told us taking the last bite of her food "I'll clean up. You go get ready" I tell her grabbing her and my plates
