Chapter 15

Third Person P.O.V

Grace sat on the other side of the back patio away from her mates watching her son play with Jack and Rocky with a smile on his face as Jack chased him. This is what her son needed, someone to play with him not caring about anything else. While Ethan does have friends, it's not a lot because most people try and get their kids to be friends with Ethan so they could get to her or tell their kids not to be friends with Ethan because he wasn't born to soulmates 

She's just glad that her son has Ocean, the little ray of sunshine has never made Ethan feel like a freak for being born from a rape and reminds him everyday that he is loved by both Grace and her. Grace loves that Ocean makes sure her son is okay when she can't 

"Hey" 

Grace looked up to see Aaron standing down next to her, holding one beer and a glass cup in his hand "Can I sit?" Grace nodded. Aaron sat down handing his mate the glass cup "It's soda" He told her, remembering from one of the talks they had that she didn't like alcohol, plus she was too young to drink "Thanks" Grace muttered taking a sip 

Hmm, Dr. Pepper 

Aaron watched as Grace looked back at the kids, he could tell by the tight grip she had on her glass that she was nervous "Hey, what's going on in that head of yours" He asked making Grace look at him. 

Grace frowned lightly looking over his shoulder at the group before looking back at him "I don't know. Just not used to this" she shrugged. Aaron looked at her with a raised eyebrow making her sigh "I usually spend time with my dance team, Barbra, Uncle Ben and Stella, and my at the studio. I'm not used to having some many people around" Grace looked back at Ethan "I'm glad Ethan has someone to hang out with, but I'm more of a anti social person unless performing" 

Aaron nodded understanding where his mate was coming from, before he met his mates, he didn't hang out with people much, he preferred to stay in, never joined in with the other kids, never left his room when he was kid. When he found Derek and then Spencer they took him out a lot, made him hang out with the team more, it wasn't something he was used too, it actually took a while to become used to hanging out with his team 

"And now your not sure what to talk about with people who aren't your friends" Grace nodded "Bingo" The two smiled at each other before Aaron took a sip of beer "Well, how about we talk" he suggested. Grace shifted so her body was facing him "About what?" Aaron shrugged "Anything" 

Derek and Spencer were cuddled up together listening to the Garcia, Emily and JJ talk as Rossi went back into the kitchen to finish dinner "What do you think they're talking about?" Spencer asked his mate. Derek looked towards Aaron and Grace a smile forming on his face when he heard Grace laughed "I don't know but whatever it is, it's making her happy" Derek told him. Spencer nodded with his own smile that got wider when Grace looked at him and motioned for the two to join them 

"Come on" Spencer pulled Derek up and towards their mates. The girls looked at them before going back to their conversation 

Derek and Spencer take a seat across from the two, Grace smiled shyly at them playing with her skirt "Go ahead" Aaron encouraged her nudging her shoulder a little. Grace looked at them through her eyelashes "Uh I was wondering if you guys would like to have breakfast this weekend with me?" Grace asked 

Spencer and Derek smiled brightly at Grace making her blink. They shouldn't look this hot when smiling, it wasn't fair. "Yes, we would love too" Derek told her making Grace smile looking back at Jack and Ethan "Bring Jack as well. I think Ethan would like that" She told them making them nod as Spencer and Derek looked behind them to see Ethan and Jack play fighting with Rocky watching them 

"So what were you guys talking about?" Spencer asked. Aaron leaned back resting his arm over Grace shoulder "Just about our interests" Grace nodded "I wouldn't have pegged Aaron to like musicals" she teased making Derek and Spencer laugh as they hadn't expected it when they found out. "Oh, ha ha, laugh it up" Aaron rolled his eyes good naturally 

Ethan looked at his mom laughing with her mates and smiled, Jack stopped next to him and looked at his dads "You think they're going to get through this?" Ethan asked looking up at Rocky who stepped behind them. Rocky looked down at Ethan and smiled, she knew how it felt to be scared someone wasn't going to like you because you weren't born from soulmates

It's how she felt when meeting JJ, scared she wouldn't like her because she was born from a one night stand "I do. Your mom is very strong" Ethan nodded in agreement, his mom was the strongest woman he knows
