3rd Person P.O.V
It's been a week since Grace was let out of the hospital. Her and Ethan were back living in their own house, though Ben, Stella and the others come over everyday to make sure she wasn't working
Her group came over after dance practice and stayed until lunch, then Stella would come over until dinner were Ben would join them before he tucked Ethan into bed
At night Grace would spend her time emailing Barbara on when it would be best to set up interviews. What happened at her competition went viral and a let of people have sent her gift basket, get well cards, balloons and more
A lot of people wanted interviews with her to get her thoughts on what happened and how she was doing, Paparazzi would even station themselves outside her gates hoping to get a photo of her
On the bright side, Aaron, Derek and Spencer have been spending a lot of time texting and calling her. The four of them set up a time and place for them to meet and Rossi is hosting a party in 2 weeks so Jack and Ethan would finally meet then
It wasn't that the parents didn't want the two kids to meet, they all just thought it was a little too soon
Right now Grace was in her bedroom working on some new songs while watching Glee when her phone rang. Grabbing it from the bed side table she sees it's Derek calling her
"Hey baby girl"
"Hey Der. What's up?"
"Nothing just called to check in on you and to remind you to get some sleep tonight"
Grace smiled as she continued working "I will, just sending some emails to my manager then I'll head off to bed" She heard Derek sigh of relief knowing she would be getting some actually sleep and not an hour or two nap
"That's good. Well I have to go but Spence will call you in the morning. Good night baby girl"
"Good night Der" Grace hung up before setting the phone back on the desk. Turning back to her laptop she presses send before packing up for the night. She does need more than an hour of sleep if she wants to heal
