i was sitting on the rooftop, and i was putting makeup on my hand to hide the new rank on my hand. i can't, the puppy kid said that if anyone saw it they would want to know how i conjured a rank four spell. if grandma finds out, i don't know what will happen. i found out by accident that J.J was a rank one and was hiding it. Raya is a rank two. Bay, Val's son, is a rank three. the last time i was near an x demon, i gave a growl. not like a non animal growl, like some sort of demon that i am not. the x demon backed off right away and practically cowered away.
"Yue?" Julia asked. i looked back, and she was looking at me with a sad face. she hid her wings and tail. her hair was black faded to green. that is unusual. anyway, she sat beside me thankfully after i hid my actual rank.
"hey cutie." i smiled the best i could to hide my worried face.
"is everything okay?"
"yeah, i just was thinking about the x demons and what is going to happen during the cleansing."
"you'll be safe, all of you." she said with her hand on mine. i looked into her eyes. and i pulled her into a hug. we stayed that way for a few minutes. then when we broke apart, i cupped her face. she began to blush slightly. we closed the gap between us. Julia is now has my first kiss.
