mom and i were walking out of school, when we saw Pistachio run out to someone. we stopped at the gates and were greeted by an old face.
"couldn't be..." a nearly exact copy of mom stood there. a bright red dress with a slit showing her leg and matching shoes. her hair wasn't curly like mine or moms. i felt my hand sting for a moment before memories flashed in my mind all at once. i was young, roughly four or five, when Lilith interacted with me while mom was out.
"Yue, you must be strong in order to survive in hell you must be like-"
"i can be strong like mommy!" i cheered. Lilith looked dumbfounded and shocked. the memory changed again to me... and Julia playing with a little plush toy.
"Juia! let's get Poppy a dress later!" i cheered as Julia smiled and recommended a dress like i was wearing. Julia was on earth before? i shook my head and was brough back to reality. i looked to Lilith. i backed away. she looked confused. i shook my head as tears formed to the sized of grapes before falling down my cheeks. i ran away. i ran to the rank ones dorms. my grandmother is the monster of the family! i ran as fast as my legs could carry me. black smoke began to spew from my left hand as i began sobbing my lungs out. i didn't see anything clearly.
next thing i knew i ran down someone. after we landed, i saw it was Julia. i had only lifted myself on my knees when i saw her. i began to cry harder and throw a hug on her. she hugged me back and began to pet my hair. i explained to her everything. she checked my hand, and i am still a rank two. i was sure i ranked up, clearly not.
