i was really tired today. when we got to the maid café today, mom wanted to talk to Julius. we got in, but I couldn't hear anything well since I was studying extraordinarily late. I know everything to know about fire magic now. and like three darkness spells. all I could tell was i sat in a seat next to mom. I was exhausted, and I kept lowering my head to get some sleep. I was fighting the uncooperative mind that would not let my have a conversation.

"Tired Yue?" I looked up and saw Vin Vin giving a sympathetic smile.

"Late night study." I yawned. Mom and the boys both looked to me with off expressions. I laid my head on my hands and slowly started to doze off. I couldn't tell what they were saying, but I didn't have the mental capacity to listen coherently. I did hear the door open and loud voices. I didn't mind it, as far as I was concerned it was someone who did something they were not supposed to. eventually I heard the area go dead silent. some one started nudging my shoulder. "mm?"

I looked up with sleepy blinking eyes. above me was Catrina.

"uh, hi?" i said sleepily. Mama Cat took out a pad and wrote something down before giving it to me. "what? oh. 'late night'? yeah, up late studying."

'oh dear,' she wrote. 'I hope this book wont take too much from your studying time.'

she handed me a book with a picture of a demon talking. the words were in multiple different writing. one sentence I could read. "language of demons".

"oh! this is to help understand you?" I asked. she just smiled and nodded. this could help with making connections with other demons too. there wont be a language barrier. i'll have to learn how to say "thank you" for the book.
