Chapter 3: The Initiation

LOCATION: TATOOINE

3RD POV

Y/n: Cal?!

Cal: I see your awake, we have a lot to catch up on. 

To say Y/n was shocked was an understatement, he had never thought that Cal Kestis, would've become a Sith. 

???: That Comes later, first You must pass the Initiation. 

Y/n: Initiation? 

Cal: Come on master Kaien, You can't expect him to complete the Initiation right after he woke up.

Kaien: I can, and I do.

Y/n: What is the Initiation? 

Y/n askes as they walk into a room resembling an area. Stepping inside Y/n looks around before the door shuts and locks behind him.

???: I am. 

Kaien: If you can defeat Starkiller then you can join the Sith. 

Y/n nods before realizing something, he didn't have his lightsaber on him.

Y/n: Um-

Kaien: BEGIN!

Starkiller wastes no time and dashes towards Y/n igniting both his lightsabers he stabs at him. Y/n dodges and force pushed Starkiller away before going in for a right hook. Y/n's fist connects but Starkiller stands there unfazed, Kicking him back Starkiller launches towards Y/n yet again and attempts to slice his head off but Y/n leans back, narrowly avoided a gruesome death. 

In the stands Cal notices something.

Cal: Master, why isn't Y/n using his lightsaber? 

Kaien: I destroyed it. 

Cal: WHAT! WHY!?

Kaien: Because I wanted to. Also Don't yell at me boy.

Cal: Yes Master

Back in the Arena, Y/n starts to struggle with dodging Starkiller's attacks and even has a couple of burns on him from when Starkiller skinned him with his lightsaber. 

StarKiller: Someone as weak as you could never become a Sith.

He says as he attempts to cut off Y/n's leg but is shocked when he receives punch which sends him flying a few feet back, causing him to drop one of his lightsabers. Y/n force pulls it to him as he ignites the red blade. 

Y/n: Now, lets try this again. 

StarKiller picks himself up and glares at Y/n. They dash towards each other as as their blades clash together.

StarKiller: I believe that's mine.

Y/n: Not at the Moment.

Y/n says as he smirks and launches him self back, effectively  dodging Starkiller's Saber which tried to separate his legs from his body. But as Y/n was in the air he is hit by a Barrage of force lightning which slams him into a wall. Starkiller throws his lightsaber into the cloud of dust, clearing it away and revealing...Nothing. Starkiller recalls his lightsaber to him and closes his eyes. Suddenly they snap back open as he backflips over Y/n, who swung his own lightsaber at him, and dashes back, gaining some distance. However just as Starkiller's feet touched the floor Y/n dashes in front of him and swings his lightsaber at starkiller's head, he parry's the lightsaber and thrusts forward, attempting to pierce Y/n's chest again but he blocks which causes Starkiller lose balance and fall onto the ground. Rolling away, he Narrowly dodges an attack from Y/n who tried to cut him in half. 

Starkiller: Okay, I'll admit, your good. 

Y/n nods and goes into Form II and holds his lightsaber in front of him with both hands. Starkiller, not knowing this, Rushes towards Y/n and swings his lightsaber downwards but is surprised when Y/n blocks the overhead strike and uses his own body weight against him, Starkiller stumbles back which leaves enough of an Opening for Y/n to send a diagonal slash at Starkiller, who quickly regains focus and parry's the attack  just before unignited his Lightsaber. 

StarKiller: I yield.

Y/n: Huh, why?

StarKiller: Your proficiency in lightsaber combat and your quick thinking makes you a deadly opponent, It's overwhelming. 

 Y/n: (Thoughts) I thought I was using pretty basic forms. 

Y/n handed Starkillers lightsaber back to him as the door behind Starkiller opened and Kaien and Cal walked out towards them. 

Kaien: You passed, not many can defeat Starkiller in lightsaber combat. 

Cal: Even me. I failed to defeat Starkiller multiple times. In fact I never won.

Y/n: Wait, what do you mean you didn't win, I thought that you had to win to become a Sith. 

Kaien: No, It was a bluff, I needed to see where you are so I know what to teach you. 

Y/n: Oh, like school testing?

Starkiller: Exactly like school testing. 

Kaien: I created you a lightsaber, all you have to do is bleed your Kyber crystal

Y/n: My Kyber crystal? You kept it? 

Kaien: Of course, I can't give you everything. Follow me.

Kaien leads Y/n out of the room as Cal turns to Starkiller 

Cal: You didn't use the full capabilities of the force, just lightsaber combat. You were holding back weren't you.

Starkiller: Of course.

Cal: Why? You didn't hold back against me. I still haven't healed from your detonate technique. 

Starkiller: I like him more then you.
