chapter 13

Alpha Roman's POV

I am sitting in my office thinking of the things that happened in the past four days. Sophia looks great, she become beautiful even after giving birth.

I was shocked that she was Jonas' fated mate. I also feel ashamed to be in front of her because I was also among the people to didn't treat her right.

I am also sitting lost in thought I receive a Call.
"Hello Alpha Roman speaking." I say
"Hello alpha Roman, this is the alpha king." The person said

"Your highness, how may I help you." I sat up right.

"I am on my way to visit your park hope you don't mind." He said
"No I don't mind, you are more than welcome." I said
"Ok, I will be there within few minutes." He replied then hang up without waiting for my response.

I started panicking, I mind linked my luna, beta and gamma.
Within few seconds they had reached my office.

"What's the matter dear." My mate said as she pecked me
"The alpha king is on his way here." I said

"What!" They shouted looking at me with shocked expression
"But why." Clark asked
"I don't know, but I need to hold a quick meeting with the park members." I replied

"Ok, l will tell the guard to sound the drum." Jonas said
Then he mind linked the guard and with seconds the drum was heard.

Sophia pov
I was in the living room with mariella plaiting her hair then I heard the sound of the drum.

"Mum, why are they druming." Ella asked
"That is a sign that the alpha is calling for a meeting." I replied.
"Ok." She replied

"But why would they sound the drum and what is the meeting for." Rina asked
"I don't know, I think we shall find out when we go there." I replied

Then we left the house and I met Myles and melvin with my brother Myles.
"Myles." I called
Both my brother and son turned to look my way.
"No I mean your uncle." I said

"Can you at least call him Anthony when you notice we are both near each other, because its causing the two of us to turn and look at you." Myles said

We just laughed at him "ok, so why is the meeting for."

"I don't know, let's go and see." He replied then we reached in front of the park house as all the pack members were already there.
Then alpha Roman and his mate came then called for everyone's attention.

"Sorry to all call you on a short notice but this is urgent. The alpha king is coming to visit us and he will here a few seconds from now." He said and everyone started talking among themselves

"Attention, I know you are wondering why is suddenly visiting but I also hold no reason for that but we shall find out when he reaches here." He replied
Then few seconds we heard the sound of car engines approaching the park house. Sera started to become excited and I asked
"Whats the matter Sera."

"Wait and see." She replied then I decided to wait and then the alpha and luna walked towards the car then after few seconds the guard came out of the car then went to open the door for the alpha king.

Then he stepped out and we saw him giving his hand to someone in the car then he carried a kid.
When he turned my world felt like it heard stopped.

The alpha king was my second chance mate and he has a son.
"Mum, that's the man who we saw yesterday." Melvin said

"What are you talking about." Eva asked
Then Myles told Eva but in spanish to avoid others from listening. Then she widened her eyes and looked at me.
"Oh diosa de la luna, tu companero de segunda opurtunidad es el rey alfa." Eva said (oh moon goddess, your second chance mate is the alpha king."

"No quiero emocionarme demosiado ni hacerme ilusiones y si decide rechazarme porque tengo hijos." (I don't want to be excited or put my hopes up what If he rejects me because I have kids.") I replied

"Nosentido por que te rechazaria el tambiem tiene un hijo."(nosense why would he, he has a kid too." She replied

"Mama, no debate que te lastime, si se atreve entonces tendra que enfrentarme porque siendo rey no le dara derecho a lastimarte." (Mum i wont let him hurt you, if he dares then he will have to face me because him being king won't him a right to hurt you.) Myles said

"Gracias, mis pequenos guerreros pero no se preocupen, estare bien mientras ustedes tres esten aqui conmigo." (Thank ypu my little warriors but dont sorry about i will be ok as long you are here with me.) I replied

"What are you talking about." Myles asked
Then I explain to him through the mind link then his eyes widened.

I saw Roman done introducing himself to the king. I still can't believe it.

"Don't worry, he won't reject us, he is actually here for us." Sera said
"What! How do you know he is here for us." I asked her

"Wolly told that they are here to look for us." She said
"Who is wolly." I asked her

"Its his wolf silly." She said
"Oh ok." I replied, she rolled her eyes at me.
Then after the alpha king was done greeting us, we were dismissed but through his greetings, he seemed to be looking for someone and then after few minutes our eyes met and it felt like it was only us at that moment. After he was done, I left with the kids, Rina , Eva and myles to go back home.

But the kids decided to go with me to the garden to relax for a while.
But my thoughts were on the king.

I was in the garden sitting with kids talking to them and I also decided to massage Melvin's ankle its been three days since he got hurt but he seemed to getting better but the doctor had predicted.
Though he was still feeling a Little bit of pain but it still broke my heart to see him in pain.

"Aah, it still hurts." He shouted in pain I knew his healing process was slow because he was yet to shift.

Then I stopped and he heard someone laughing then he saw Mariella and Myles laughing at him.

"Why are you laughing." He asked
"Bro you are just a cry baby." Mariella said
"Ella, you just saying that because you are not in my position." He said though he felt a little embarrassed

"Ok, Ella and Myles stop laughing at your brother, or should I remind you that you Myles are afraid of spiders and Ella you have forgotten you are scared of darkness." I said

Then melvin started laughing at their expressions, everytime one talked about spiders, Myles' mood would change and same went to Ella.

"Ok, Melvin stop laughing." I replied
"Mum, did you have to rub it in." Ella said
"Well...." I said but was cut short my someone.
"Excuse me my lady." The familiar voice said and I just recognized him but his scent. Then I turned and I saw standing looking at me with a smile on his face.
