chapter 15

Sophia's POV

I can't believe it, but I have too. Calvin seems to be a cool and calm guy. It's a pity, but he lost his mate at childbirth. No person would enjoy seeing their loved ones lose their lives.

When he left after asking me out on a date, I felt my heart skip.
But I don't want to raise my hopes a lot because I don't want to be disappointed in the end.

Myles is always protective, especially around people, because he feels that he doesn't trust them.

"Mum, are you okay?" I hear Myles ask
"Yeah, I am ok. "Let's head home; it's getting late." I replied, and we got the small blanket we had carried and walked back to the house.

We reached it, and we were welcomed by a mouth-watering scent.

"Mm mm. Someone is cooking something delicious." Ella commented
"Yeah, I am already getting hungry." Melvin said he was rubbing his belly.

We laughed when we heard someone's stomach growl, and it turned out to be Melvin.
We walked to the kitchen, and we found Rina cooking, but with the help of some guy I noticed had come with Calvin.

"Hey guys, you are finally back." Rina said with a smile
"Yes, what do we have?" I said as I walked towards her.

"Well, we are cooking dinner." She replied
"We!" I said it with a raised brown
"Ooh, sorry, where are my manners? Lisa, meet Raymond Holmes, my mate and beta to the alpha king, and babe, meet my best friend Lisa Smith, though her real name is Sophia Williams." She said it with a big smile on her face.

I was truly happy for her; I can't believe she finally met him.

"Hey Lisa, nice meeting you." He said
"Same here," I replied as I shook his hand.
The kids were happy, and they greeted him, who finally congratulated them.

Though they warned Raymond not to hurt her, he will have to face them first.

"I wouldn't dare." He replied with a smile, and you could see the love he has for her in his eyes.

The kids went to freshen up as I helped Ray set the table. We put all the dishes on the table, and while we were putting other dishes on the table, the kids came downstairs. Myles and Eva had gone on a date, so we decided that we would save some desert for them.

"Wow, this looks delicious." Ella commented
"I can't wait to dig in." Melvin said as he was rubbing his hands together.
"Ok, let's settle down, and then we start our dinner." I said
Then everyone settled down in their seats, and we started serving ourselves.

Jonas' POV
I am here in Roman's office going through some packing documents, but my mind is not settled.
"Dude, are you okay?" He asked me
"No, I am not." I reply
Then he put down his pen and looked at me.
"Do you want to talk about it?" He asked
"I feel bad; Sunny doesn't know that Sophia's kids are mine." I replied in a frustrated way.
"What! And when are you planning on telling her?" He asked

"I don't know; I am just scared to hurt her." I replied
"But you should still tell her; do you know how it hurts her if she knows it from another person?" He said

I kept quiet. I knew what he was saying was right, but how was I going to tell her? I am even trying to figure out how I will break the news to her.

My kids themselves hate me. I am really stressed, and I feel like I am going to lose my mind.
I decide to go for a run and decide to tell Roman, but he beats me to it. It was like he had read my mind.
"It's ok, you can go for a run." He said it calmly.
"Thank you, bro." I said to him:

"It's nothing much." He replied with a smile.
Then I walked out of his office and towards the forest. I then took off my clothes, put them near a tree, and shifted into my grey wolf.

I started running as I felt the wind blow through my fur, and it felt good.

Eva's Pov
I am happy today especially for two best friends Rina and Sophia.
Rina finally got her mate and Sophia also got a second chance at love.
I told Myles about it and he was happy with the news especially for Sophia. I was so happy and I called Evan to share the news with him.

He was happy and he told that he was going to share the news with other. Myles decided to take for date and he took me the restaurant he used to bring Sophia all the time.

"A penny of your thoughts." Myles said with a wide smile on his face.
"You already know what I am thinking about." I replied

"Hmmm..., is it how you are going to make love to me." He said to tease me
"Myles, pervert." I replied

"Hahaha is it about Rina and Sophia." He said
And I nodded my head and she smiled then added "I am happy too, I don't know if my sister is ready to be a queen for all werewolves. And I know she might still be feeling insecure after what happened to her."

"Yeah, you are right. She is scared that he might reject her because of the kids." I replied

"Then he will be a jerk, he has a kid too and better not think of it or I will break his nose. No king will come and break my sister's heart." He replied though I could sense a bit of anger in his voice.
I placed my hand in his to calm him down and it worked.

"Don't worry, I have a feeling the king won't do that." I replied
"I hope he doesn't." He replied

We continued eating then later we decided to go watch a movie together and by the time we went home we were all over the moon.
We found Sophia, the kids, Rina and her mate watching a horror movie and we decided to join them.

What a happy moment to Sophia and her friends. They have to Cherish every little happy moment they have in their lives
