chapter 20

Third person POV

Myles' birthday finally reached, the house was quiet it didn't give the vibes of a function going to take place, their mother has finally woken up after three weeks of being in a coma.
Eva was on pressure preparing the party for her mate.

She couldn't wait for the time to reach for the function.
"Hey babe." Myles said to Eva
"Hello my love." She replied as she kissed him on the lips.
"Hmm, today feels great." He said
"Yah, it does." She replied as she went to sit on the vanity table in their room.

"Arent you forgetting something." He said while smiling
Then she tried thinking and she had figured out what he meant. But she decided to pretend not to know anything.

"No, I didnt forget anything." She replied and his smile faded a little but he wanted to cover up and he pretended to smile then
he pecked her on the cheeks and told her he was going to do some inspections.
Then he left his room and on his way he met his niece.

"Good morning uncle." She said with a smile
"Good morning to you too Ella." he replied as she they went down stairs.
But the house seemed quiet and everyone seemed to have forgotten his birthday.
He felt disappointed and sad especially since it was the first birthday he celebrated with his mate.
He left the house and met up with Roman and Jonas talking to one of the pack warriors.

"Hello guys." He greeted
"Hey Myles." They replied
"So what's happening today I feel everyone is acting weird today." He replied
Jonas and Roman looked at each other but didn't say anything at all.
"It's nothing." Roman replied
He looked at them and he left to go see his mother.

Myles pov
Today I feel excited celebrating my birthday with my mate. I woke early went for jogging with my nephew Myles.
When we came back, I found my mate already awake. She welcomed me and I went to freshenup then talk to her.

But the funny part of should I say sad part is that she hasn't even wished me happy birthday.
Its like she forgot about it, everyone even my sister Sophia.

"Come on stop over thinking." Axel my wolf said
"Oh really then should I do if our mate doesn't remember my birthday." I said to him
"Ooh godness, why did you pair me with such a whining baby." Axel said

"You are stuck with me for good, so face it." I replied as I chuckled
After meeting Roman and Jonas discussing about the rogue attack on Westville pack.

I decide to go check on my mother, she gained conscious few days back.
I got to the infirmary but on my way I meet my nephew Melvin and his new friend Axel.
They have been getting on well, I can see Axel is also gaining some weight since he started staying with us.

I dont know why Roman can't send his cousin away from here, he has been bullying people around.
I have to talk to him before someone gets hurt.
"Hello Uncle Myles." He said
" hello buddy." I replied
"Hello Sir." Axel said
"Come on how many times have stopped you from calling me sir. Uncle is the word, you are now part of the family." I said as I tapped on his shoulder.
Then he nodded and I decided to ask them what they are up to.
"Buddy, what are you up to."

"Ooh its nothing, we were just from seeing grandmother." He replied
"And your mum." I asked
"She left wit aunt Rina and Eva to go shopping." He replied

I nodded then I left bid them farewell and went to the infirmary.

Sophia pov

I am happy today for my brother, we have been ignoring him since morning.
We all pretended like we didn't remember his birthday, I dont like making my brother sad but I have do this to make the surprise become awesome.

I left with Eva and Rina to go to the mall to shop a suite for Myles to wear and also get a perfect for him.
Me and where still thinking of what to give him as for Eva, she already figured it out.

Evan was on his way here to visit for a few days, I was so happy, I havent felt so much happy like this except for when I have birth to babies.
There birthday is soon reaching in the next month of April, my restaurant has been running on well since I left it with my assistant

"Mum, you seem so happy." Marielle says
"Yes my dear, I am." I reply as I hug her.
The party was being planned on well, we had decided to make it simple.
It was to be held in the garden near our house, I haven't to the kids about forgiving their father.

I don't want them to be fill their hearts with hatred towards people.
Any way now its not the time to think of that, so i head to the garden to check and now how far Eva and Rina are with the preparations.

I have been in contact with Calvin, we talk almost everyday and he tells me how things are going on his side and I do the same.

I really do miss him, thinking about him makes blush.
I was all smiling thinking about Calvin and someone interrupted me.

"Did I just see you blush." Someone says.
I get startled and I turn to see who it is and I see, its Rina and Eva looking at me, I felt embarrassed then I felt like the ground should eat me up.

"Come on guys you startled me." I said to them pretending to be mad.
"Where you thinking about Calvin." Eva asked
"No." I replied blushing
"Hahaha, but your face says otherwise." Rina replied.
"So how far with the preparations." I asked
"Everything is set, let's wait for time to reach and we start the party." Eva replied with a smile.

"Ok, that's good." I replied and we all went to prepare because only an hour was remaining for the party to begin.
So we had enough to prepare ourselves, I mind linked my sons to ask them where they were.
Myles replied me "I am at home."
"How about your uncle."
"He went for a run with Melvin and Axel but they are almost back." He replied

"Ok dear i am on my way home, hope you are done preparing what you want to give your uncle." I asked

"Yes." He replied
I blocked him, then after few minutes, me, Rina and Evan reached at home and started preparing ourselves for the evening, the party was beginning at 5:30pm and we had only forty five minutes to prepare for the night.

My only wish was that My brother can love whatever we prepared for him.
