chapter 24

Sophia's POV

We reached the airport, and we went through the checkpoint. After they checked our passports, we went to sit and wait for them to announce our flight.
I looked at my brother; he was staring at me. Eva and Rina were both talking to the kids.

"You are ok, sis." He asked
"I am ok, don't worry," I replied and he hugged me.
"Call me once you reach," he replied. I nodded and he left to go bid farewell to the kids.

Eva bid us farewell, our plane was announced, and I headed to the gate with the kids.

Axel seemed nervous, but he tried to cover it up.
"Axel, are you okay?" I ask
"Yes, I am just a little bit nervous," he replied.
"Don't worry, we are all here with you." i reply
And he nodded, and we started entering the plane.

We sat in our seats, and after a few minutes, the plane started moving.
I sat, and I saw my kids were all smiling as they headed back to what they considered home. For Axel and Jacob, it was like a new chapter for them.
I closed my eyes as I tried to talk to Sara.

S is for Sara, and So is for Sophia.

So, Sara, are you there?
S: Yes, Sophie, I am always here.
So, I am sorry to go far away from our mate.
S: It's ok, we are going on something urgent; let this be a test for him too. We will see if he will look for us.
So, thanks for understanding.

A few hours later, the plane landed at the airport, and we started getting out of the plane. Axel and Jacob looked around the airport. I cant blame them; it's a new environment for them. They have to be scared, especially around humans.

"Are you ok?" I asked them, and they all nodded. They all seemed to be happy to be here, especially the triplets.
We walked to where the luggage was, and we got our luggage to live at home.
I felt happy to be back home. With my kids, everyone took their things to their room. Axel and Jacob were both sleeping in the guest room, so we all had to rest to restore our energy.

Two hours later, we woke up when it was already four o'clock in the evening.
"Guys, are you ready?" I asked them, and they were sitting in the living room, ready for us to live.

We left for the pack house to go and inform the alpha about our coming back to the pack.
"Hlo Lisa," an omega greeted
"Hello, prima," I replied as we continued to the alpha's office.
I knocked on the door, and we were allowed to enter.

"Greetings, Alpha Kayden." I greeted him with a smile.
"Hello Lisa, please, I told you not to be formal with me; just call me Kayden; you are like a little sister to me." he replied
"Ok, how are you?" I replied as I hugged him.

"I am ok, maybe you," he replies.
"I am ok," I replies
Then the kids greeted him too. We introduced him to Axel and Jacob, and Luna came with a smile on her face.

We hugged each other, and then we had to head for the dining room as we discussed Eva and my brother expecting their first child.

The kids went ahead of us, and I wasn't able to open up to them about my new mate.

Lucas and Marcus were all happy to see the triplets; the five of them were inseparable, and at some point I prayed they stayed that way.

Third person's point of view

"Myles, who are the two kids you came with?" lucas asked
"Ooh, they are our siblings now; mom adopted them; the old one is Axel and his young brother Jacob." Myles replied.

"Ooh," he replied.
They decided to go and practice together. Axel was sitting aside and watching them; he kind of felt out of place as he was sitting, and a boy around his age approached him.

"Hey, you are okay," he asked.
"Hey, yes, I am ok," Axel replied.
"My name is Billy, and you," he said.
"Axel," he replies.
"Nice meeting you, Axel," he replies with a smile on his face.
"Nice meeting you too, Billy," he replies.
They sat down and started chatting for a while. Billy seemed to be a chatterbox.

Axel was just listening and smiling at him, and Myles and Lucas were still having a duel between them.

But in the end, they are both winners; Lucas had alpha blood in his veins, and Myles had beta blood in him.
"Well, you are still strong; I thought that you would come back all rusted up." lucas comments

"No, Buddie, not a chance," he replies.
"Melvin, come here." Marcus called him, and he came towards him.
Marcus and Melvin were best friends, though Melvin was two years older than Marcus.

"You want to have a duet with me?" Melvin asked.
"Not you, but him," he said as he pointed at Axel.
Then Melvin turned to see who it was, and he went to see that it was Axel.

"Axel," he said, surprised.
"Yes, Axel," he replies, then looks at Axel, who is confused about what is happening.

"Whats happening." Axel asked
"Marcus wants you both to fight together and test your skills," Melvin explains.
Then Axel nodded his head, and he stood up.
"Don't be afraid; we always test ourselves like that, especially if you are new." Marcus explains.

"Ok," he replies, and they both set themselves up to start fighting.
