chapter 25

Myles A pov

I was excited when mom said we were coming to Mexico. I didn't show it, but everyone was happy to come back. It might be a new environment for Axel and Jacob, but they will be fine as time goes by.

Mum is with Luna; they have a bond they both share and beyond.
Melvin will always be the troublemaker among the three of us, and now Axel has to duel with Marcus, his best friend.

Both are mischievous, and they always create trouble around the pack.
I remember they once pranked me, Lucas and Ella. It was in the morning, and I was just heading to the bathroom. They changed my mouth wash with food-colored water, and they changed Ella's hair oil with blue hair dye.

Ella was so mad, and mom had to scold Melvin and ground him for a week.
Now Axel seems frightened, but I know he will try and make.

Alpha King's POV
I was in my office when I got the news that my friend had left the country without telling me.

Anger rose within me, and I felt I should go for a run.
I left my office, used the back door, and reached near a tree. I took off my clothes and shifted into my wolf.

Calvin: Why would she do that to us?

Wolly: Relax, man, I talked to her wolf, and she said that they had an emergency, which is why they had to live.

Calvin: With the kids.
Wolly: yes.

I relaxed a bit after hearing that, but at least she could have informed me about it. I have to go to her; I have to go to Mexico.
I ran back to the pack house, and I found my sister standing at the entrance, looking like she wanted to kill someone. I wonder who pissed her off.

Sophia's pov
It's been two days since we came back to Mexico. I was trying to solve the issue that happened to my restaurant with some crazy customers.

I do understand my staff is wrong, but it doesn't necessarily need to involve the law; it's something we could solve and come to an agreement on.

I was at home with Ella baking a cake, and we had the door open. And I just knew that it was the boys who had come back home.

"Hello mum." Melvin said as he had a peck on my cheek.
"Hey, my dear." I replied with a smile.
Myles, Axel, and John came and did the same. Axel was now opening up little by little.

"Wow, this looks delicious." Myles commented as he tried to steal some of the cake, and Mariella slapped his hands.

"Ouch, was that necessary?" He replied
"Yes, you know I hate when someone interrupts me when I am baking." She replied, then I left the kitchen for them and headed to my room to rest a bit.

When I reached, I decided to first take a shower. When I came out of the bathroom, I heard my phone ringing. I walked towards the bedside table and picked to see who was there, and it happened to be Calvin.
I smiled, then answered his call after reading his name.
"Hello," I said.
"Hello Sophie, is that you?" He asked someone who could hear the desperation in his voice.

"Yes, call it me." I replied
Well, you might be confused, but I call him Cal.
"Sophie, why did you live without telling me?" He asked just as I
had expected

"Look, I am sorry; it was an emergency, so I had to live." I reply
"Ok, fine, I understand, so when are you coming back?" He asks
"I don't know, but there is a possibility of not coming back since I started a life here with my kids." I reply

"But what about me? My son, we need you." He says
"I know, but I am still having the fear of thinking that one day I will wake up and realize it was all a dream." I reply with tears flowing from my eyes.

"But we can work it out; I am here with you. I am not him; believe me, just continue moving like we had." He says.

"Ok, I will see if maybe I come back for your sake." I reply
"Ok, I will be waiting for you, so let's put that aside. How are things with your business?" He asks
I started telling him what exactly was happening, and he gave me advice on what to do about solving the issues in my business.

We had a long chat, and I truly missed him. I was feeling loved and cared for, and I would be with him right now.
Sera really wanted to be with her mate, and I will try not to keep her from being with him.

I asked him about Rina, and he told me that she was doing fine and happy with her mate Raymond.
We had a chat for some time, and I told him that I was going to rest, so we said our goodbyes and promised to talk to each other later on.

I smiled when I thought of him, and I closed my eyes. Then sleep took over.
