In the morning,
The sun rays spilling from the balcony caused the sleeping figure on the bed to stir. Her eyes widens for a split second on finding herself in an unfamiliar environment. The uniqueness of the room caused her to marvel. Walls were made of beautiful stones, the bed she laid upon was covered in silk clothing and the silver utensils placed at the corner gave the room an ancient royal vibe. The incidents of last night starts registering in her mind.
[A girl dressed in an elegant red gown steps out of the resort. Her face blank not showing an ounce of emotion but those close enough to her can feel her inner turmoil. She went towards the car park instantly spotting a deep maroon lambhorgini amidst an array of black and white luxurious cars. It stood out among the rest completely in sync with its owner, who despite being the guest got more attention than the host.
It was around midnight and the resort was located a few miles away from the city, so the roads were deserted and only a streak of maroon light was visible. The desolation and the darkness didn't scare her like for others, on the contrary it gave her a rare moment of peace which she couldn't find at many places.
But today the feeling was different, she felt a sense of restlessness, not knowing her life's gonna change drastically after tonight. She throws these feelings to the back of her mind when she realizes the folly . She underestimated their foolishness, to think that tampering with her brakes would guarantee her death, what does those idiots take her for?
As an Internationally licensed racer and former champion of FIA Formula World Cup she would have held the title in vain if she could not even handle a break failure. Her best option then was to make estimated collisions to decline the speed as continuous safe driving till the fuel burns out was out of option with the tank full.
But the factor she didn't calculate was the sudden beam of light shown upon her face and then everything went blank.]
The accident itself didn't bother her as much as the strange light. It still gave her an unsettled feeling but the most important thing now was to figure out her current predicament. She was in the same attire as last night and herbal paste was applied on the few scratches attained on her body caused her to furrow her brows in displeasure but she decides to let it go for now since the owner of the bungalow did save her, irrespective of his motive.
With thoughts clouding her mind she went towards the balcony and the scenery outside stupefied her. What greeted her was a vast garden filled with rows of trees and exotic array of flowers with a majestic fountain but the focus of her attention was the soldiers patrolling near the garden, wearing bronze armor on their upper body and holding spears in their right hands while their lower body was wrapped up in Indian style dhoti with metal helmet on their head, the men looked every bit like the ancient Indian soldiers appearing in movies causing her to believe that maybe she stumbled upon some film set but that thought was cancelled when she sensed their aura, their stance and their looks all held a fierceness that can't be achieved by some background artist but by those who experienced the viciousness of the society.
She knows that when all possible outcomes are out ruled then the most impossible becomes the possible one. The mysterious light, the architecture of the bungalow or is it palace now, the soldiers all pointed towards the same direction, the past, the ancient Indian history, she.......time travelled............
Amyra has never been someone who doesn't believe in what they don't see.
According to her there are two outcomes to it, either it doesn't exist or it wasn't discovered.
Knowing that staying in the room won't get her answers she decides to proceed outside.
Stepping out of the room, all she saw was a long corridor ending with a flight of stairs that took her to the exit leading her to the same garden she saw from her balcony. Along the way she couldn't spot a single person leaving her no choice but to get info from a fierce soldier patrolling ahead , not that she would mind when it's quite the opposite and would be in line with her persona.
