Amyra had seen her fair share of handsome men but she must agree none can hold a candle to Karn, a phase she heard before replaying in her mind.

'If there is anyone who can compete against Krishna whose looks is considered unparalleled in three realms, then it can only be Radheya Karn.'

Different from his morning attire, he wore a dhoti of orange complexion along with a luxurious uttariya of golden yellow color. The majestic crown he wore along with the other ornaments failed to outshine the radiance naturally exhibited by him.

She veered her eyes away from the king to observe the others in the room. Half were middle aged men who appeared dignified and righteous at a glance while some appeared be in their late twenties but the one among them that caught her attention was the youngest of the bunch, rest from others his eyes held deep reverence and she just happens to know the recipient of such intense feeling.

They were dressed similar to their king. With the exception of the crown, they all wore clothes of vibrant colors with ample amount of jewellery while only some wore turban.

While Amyra was curious about the ancient cuisines, Karn was busy observing her every move though not making it obvious. He was impressed when he saw her waving at an attendant to remove the unwanted dishes from her plate rather than wasting it like the others but he frowns when he saw her removing his favorite kheer. He noticed her appetite, that seems less compared to the other females he ever had contact to.

Her dining habit were impeccable giving others no chance to find fault with while he already accepted the fact that like him she is also an anomaly who displayed all the qualities of a royal despite being a vaishya.

The meal went on uneventful. The usually boisterous environment was not seen maybe because of the presence of the unusual guest.

Rest of the day went on as usual for the king while Amyra explored the palace with the assistance of maids provided to her on the king's order. She was impressed by the architecture that had a classy and luxurious vibe, a perfect combination that was hard to achieve as too much luxury may appear vulgar while less may not match upto one's status but here it was achieved ideally.

Among all the places she visited the one that left a deep impression on her was the garden and the armory excluding the throne room which she hasn't visited. The weapons there enticed her. Having always used various models of gun and nuclear weapons, the swords and bow fascinated her.

Deciding to spend the rest of the evening in the garden she dismissed the maids and went towards it only to come across a man seated near the fountain lost in thoughts. She instantly identified him as one of the court officials she dined with. He was the youngest that garnered her attention then. His looks can be enough to sign him off as an international model in modern times though he can't come close to Karn.

Generally she isn't a conversationalist but from the moment she arrived here she found herself conversing more frequently, maybe it's the unpolluted environment here that improved her mood or maybe the fact that ancient people are much simpler in thoughts compared to the calculative modern people albeit she is also one of them.

Suddenly her attention got diverted by a ball coming towards them in full speed which she could have easily avoided and lead it to hit the head of the engrossed person behind. Choosing to save the head of the human statue behind her she quickly caught it before throwing it to the bunch of kids far away. By now the human statue was back to life.

'A person shouldn't be so immersed in his thoughts to the point he forgets his surroundings' says an amused Amyra.

'Well my bad, although thank you for your timely help or else I would have at least suffered a head concussion' he replies sheepishly. And that behavior reminds her of a certain someone from her time.
