Chap-14

Devesh's POV:

       After meeting i was working in my cabin at that time someone entered my cabin and i know who it was. It's Nikhil, he is the only person who has guts to walk in my cabin as he owns it without knocking. But what to do this pighead is my bestfriend. Nikhil came and sat in the chair in front of me and started to tell something but was stopped by a knock. I said come in and Vinay with my lawyer came inside.

        " Good Afternoon Mr.Kumar. what brings you here?" Asked Nikhil, like he was reading my mind. But I don't care coz he voiced out my thoughts. Haa energy save🙃
"Good morning Mr Nikhil and Devesh, iam here to tell you that Reyansh's grandparents has filed a custody case and they want his custody. They have filed that u are unmarried and not capable to take care of Reyansh." Said the lawyer. There was pindrop silence in the room i looked the lawyer and nodded by head signalling him to continue.

       " The court has summoned a notice to prove yourself within one month or else the custody will be given to his grandparents. The easy way to prove yourself to take care of him  is to get married, but if u don't want then there is only 20% chance for our win." said the lawyer

        I let my mind to collect this things. MARRIAGE was something out of my vocabulary i have not even thought about getting married. Where will I go in search of a bride?. Will she be able to take care of my son?? Like this 'n' number of thought were running in my mind. My train of thoughts was broken by Nikhil " what are thinking about Dev? If you don't mind can I suggest something"

     
        "I was thinking about what the lawyer said. And why would I mind you duffer"  i replied. Lawyer and Vinay were already out of the cabin. "What about Eesha??" Came his voice hesitantly. I snapped my head towards him. He was right in a sense. Eesha takes good care of my Ansh. She is a good human being and a strong women. There was no doubt that she wouldn't take care of my son. But there was some secret about her. Her eyes are dark and void of anything like the depth of sea. Only time her eyes flash emotions is only when she is with Ansh. This explains that she has undergone something big. What it is??

     " Dev....Dev..." Again Nikhil bought me out of my thoughts snapping his fingers in front of me I asked him what by nodding my head. "Will she accept??" Came my voice. "I don't know but it's worth asking her once." Said Nikhil, i just remained mum and said him to call her and come to my cabin. After sometime we heard a knock on the door and Nikhil said come in. Eesha came in with Reyansh walking beside her holding her hands, seeing me he came running to me so i lifted and made him sit in my lap and gave his cheek a kiss which he returned with a sloppy one and a giggle. And now I decided I can do anything to have him with me. I looked at Nikhil and he understood " Hey champ, ready to go with Nikhil Mama. "  He asked ansh excitedly, Ansh giggled hearing his voice. soon Nikhil left the office with Reyansh leaving me and Eesha.

      I stood up from my chair and went to sit in the couch in my office it was giving the city view. The bustling was in front of our eyes, the city looked so calm from here. I went and sat there "Miss.Eesha please come and sit here i have something to discuss with." I told her I heard her hesitant steps "Well....

       Mama- uncle(Mother's brother not matter younger or elder is called as mama and cross cousins are also addressed as mama)
