Once we had gotten through the storm and inside the group was quick to try and hold Graydon down, unsure of what might happen if he isn't chained up. I felt bad, watching Boorman melt the metal together so the chains wouldn't come loose. There was a small conversation shared between Elora and Boorman but the sound of Graydon throwing up quickly put an end to that.

I could tell Jade was still recovering and I don't blame her. "What happened to Ballentine and Merrick is gonna happen to me. And you guys are going to have to stop me before I..." Graydon never finishes his sentence, a loud crack of thunder stopping him. And thank god because I don't think any of us are ready to accept we need to kill another.

"What was Ballentine going to do to me?" Elora questions "What Bavmorda started when you were a baby" "The Ritual of the Thirteenth Night" Graydon finishes Willow's sentence. The conversation was getting darker as it went on as Graydon explained how Bavmorda wanted to banish Elora, he spoke of Willow's great success in slaying Bavmorda which ultimately sparked up questions amongst the group. My eyes couldn't help but wander back over to Jade as I watch her sit there in complete silence, looking more miserable than I have ever seen her.

I shuffle away from my seat next to Kit, feeling her eyes follow me as I move next to Jade. I lean over to her ear "You alright?" I ask her, she gives me a look before shaking her head 'No'. I was about to say more before Boorman and Kit began arguing "You sent us on a wild goose chase to find some stupid artifact, and it doesn't even exist. And now we're trapped in some cursed castle, and Arik is still half a world away" "Right, Arik, Your brother, And meanwhile, your fiancé Graydon there is being ravaged by a 300-year-old demon" I wanted to hear where this was going, how it was going to end but something else pulled my attention away.

A voice, a low, whisper that for a while spoke slight jibberish before merging into proper words. The only thing I could make out was the constant repeat of one word 'Leave'. I check around me to see if anyone else is hearing it but everyone else seems unbothered, I decide to try to ignore it, hoping soon enough it will stop, that it's just me getting in my head about being in some creepy old castle.

We were eating Pork for dinner, not too bad compared to the smaller meals we have had previous nights. Graydon was laid down with his head on Elora's lap, the constant sound of him coughing in agony. "Willow... How long does he have?" I ask, struggling to watch the boy's current state. "not long, sometime in the small hours of the night, he'll lose control" I understand what's happening but god Willow always has to be so depressing about everything. "I mean, we all know it has to be done. What was the last thing Ballentine asked you to do?" Kit asks Jade, I cringe at the question instantly turning to look at Jade.

She didn't look pleased with the question "Kill him" She blankly answered sounding and looking very pissed off. "Kit, he's the prince of Galladoorn, if we kill him we'll be at war" I remind her, she looks at me, trying to reason "Haster knew. Right? We all knew that he never should've come" I love Kit but sometimes she speaks thoughts that arent needed "Kit!" I try to get her to shut up. Elora wasn't happy with what Kit was saying, giving her a disgusted look. Kit clearly doesn't get the hint.
"And if I have to decide between saving Arik and waiting for Graydon to turn into some kinda monster..." "Hey, you should put that in your vows" Boorman suggests "Shut up Boorman!" I snarl at him, fed up with everyone in the room already.

"Kits right" Graydon mumbles "I've had some experience with this before" He what?! "And I know I'm not strong enough to stop it. I don't want to hurt you guys... But I will" Lovely "If her Highness is in such a hurry to see it done, she ought to do it herself" and there we go, the never-ending feud between Elora and Kit. I throw my head back and bring my knees to my chest. "Oh, you don't think I will?" Kit gets in her face and as always Boorman once again speaks up "Uh, I don't, Killing someone who isn't trying to kill you back, is not an easy thing to do" He tells her.
