3rd person pov
All 11 of them stood around the table each one of their eyes set on the black box in the middle. None daring to open it.
"What do you think it is?" Chaeyoung was the first to ask. "I don't know" namjoon muttered observing the box.
"A bomb maybe?" Jennie thought out loud. Hobi shook his head "no it can't be if it was then it would have went off the minute we put it inside." Says the bomb expert himself.
"Did any of you happen to see anything when you opened the door" Jin asked the question directly to chaeyoung and Taehyung.
"No" they both answered shaking their heads. "What were you two doing up anyways?" Yoongi asked eyeing the two making everyone else do the same.
Both of them froze glancing at each other quickly trying to find something to say.
If chaeyoung told them that she caught Taehyung sneaking in late that would raise more suspicion on him and obviously he doesn't want anyone to know who he was seeing.
And obviously she couldn't exactly tell them that she couldn't sleep because she was thinking about hobi because um he's literally standing across from her and that's embarrassing.
Biting her lip chaeyoung desperately looked for something to say until Taehyung already beat her to it.
"Hyung is that really what we should be talking about right now we need to figure out what to do with this box."
Yoongi eyed him one more time before shrugging and looking back at the box. Both chaeyoung and Taehyung let out a quiet breath of relief also looking back at the box.
"Maybe someone should knock on it" jimin suggested. "And what do you think would happen if someone knocks on it" jungkook spoke sarcastically. Jimin shrugged "I don't know maybe something would pop out like jack in the box or something."
"Or maybe we should just open it" jisoo says getting tired of just looking at it. "We have to be careful with this soo we don't know what's inside or who brought it, it could be a trap we have to be cautious" namjoon argued shaking his head.
"Isn't it obvious that its exo who sent it" jennie asked. "No this doesn't look like a trick exo would pull" yoongi answered.
"So it's someone else" Lisa muttered more to herself. "Who the hell would it be then" Jennie sighed growing frustrated already.
"This trick looks familiar but I can't pin point from where from" chaeyoung says. "Who carried the box in?" Hobi suddenly asked.
"Me" Taehyung answered "was it light?" Hobi asked "as a feather" Taehyung answered again.
"Then it's not a bomb or anything that could hurt us if I have to guess it's a note, or a threat, or it's nothing and just something to scare us. Ether way I say open it because just staring at it trying to guess what's in it is going to get us nowhere." Hobi stated.
Namjoon sighed knowing he's right. Namjoon stretched his arm out to reach for the box and once he finally got a hold of it he dragged it towards him.
He put his hand on the lid getting ready to open it. "Be carful joon" jisoo says biting her lip nervously. Hearing the nervousness in her voice he turned to look at her giving her a reassuring smile before setting his eyes back on the box.
He opened it slowly making sure to be careful. Everyone's eyes were glued to the box with anticipation as he slowly peeled the lid.
Finally opening it he stared into the dark box eyebrows immediately furrowing seeing what was inside.
