Synthia Harrington has always been different from the other Harringtons. Her origins were a mystery to most. All most people knew was Steve found her 2 years ago while driving his parents car, which he stole, covered in blood with no name and no family history. So when nobody claimed her the Harringtons did. Naming her Synthia Emiele Harrington and the rest was history.
Synthia took caution at first, as anyone would expect. Never speaking, hiding behind her new family when people showed up or just running, one of the things she's really good at, but as soon as she met Hopper's adopted daughter, Isabelle Hopper, it was like everything changed. She now had someone else that understood her. They were never apart from each other.
Most people thought it was because they were both adopted but the reality was that they shared a secret history together. Hawkins Lab. #12 and #13.
And because Synthia was #13 she knew she was never meant to exist or at least known about. But Isabelle was always there. Their shared secret bonded them and now they were starting their fresh man year at Hawkins High.
