i stole the light that
glimmers in your eyes,
stored it deep into the night like a thief.
i tore your soul and filled
your heart with grief.
you gave me love in an
exchange for lies.
told myself i was doing what was right,
but i let the monster rip me apart.
promised that i would
never break your heart,
but a monster only knows how to fight.
going back to hell to get redemption.
little by little i restore your soul.
begged to god to give you an exception.
stitched your heart until it was whole.
i hope you will forgive my deception,
until then i will go back to my hole.
