we were like a forest fire.
the second we met a spark came alive
and that spark quickly turned into a flame
that was fueled with passion and desire.
our flames spreading fast
destroying anything in our path.
but as fast as we became a forest fire
the water came even quicker
and it burned our fire.
and we didn't have enough love
to be able to find another spark.
all that is left is ashes.
a reminder of what once was.
