a burden too great to bear
the whole world on your shoulders
as you breakdown in despair.
can never take the easy route
can never doubt for a minute
because peoples lives are at stake.
can never catch a break,
can never make a mistake.
can never have a peaceful life
can never be normal for one day.
always a knife being thrown at you
always another threat.
can never love cause if you do
you have to give them up.
there's always a price to pay
and somehow you always end up
paying the cost when it wasn't your fault.
sometimes being a hero isn't always a
good thing, sometimes it's painful.
and i don't mean just physically i mean
mentally and emotionally.
a heroes burden something
that no one should wish for.
