Lonnie stood over Shouei, looking down at him with a relieved smile.
Shouei got up and pushed Lonnie back, starting to get hostile.
Lonnie stumbled back before lunging at Shouei, reeling his fist back and colliding his fist with Shouei's lower jawline.
Shouei stepped back before going back at Lonnie, initiating a frantic fight which would be broken up rather quickly by Ollie stepping in and pushing the two apart.
"Enough!"

Finally, Ego showed up on the screen again, with a disappointed look.
"No, let them fight. It's not like it makes much of a difference on the outcome of this game. Shouei Kitsune... Lock off."
Shouei brushed Ollie's hand off and scoffed as he walked out of the room, slamming the door shut behind him.

Ego's smile returned, "Good. Now, my little diamonds in the rough, please report to the training room for a physical examination. Based on the results, your individual rank could possibly be tweaked. Oh and congratulations to those who remain for advancing." The screen shut off and everyone in the room looked at each other, confused but when looking back up at the screen, they saw a guide to get to one of the many training rooms.

In each of the individual tests? There was always someone so took the top spot, in Endurance, Rank #255, Tamara Kazuko had taken that category by a long shot. In both Vertical Jump and raw physical prowess, Rank #247, Ollie Kanji had excelled. I'm overall speed, Rank #246, Uyeno Yoshio broke records.
Everyone had their own specialty and what they were good at, but Lonnie placed Mediocre on the physical portion, seeing as Lonnie was more of a practical threat on the field instead of in the gym.

Suddenly, the test was over and everyone in Team V reported to the cafeteria which was serving pretty decent food before reporting back to their dormitory, which wasn't too bad seeing as they had soft cots to lay on but other than that, it was pretty baron inside of the small room they were given. Whilst everyone sat on their beds, they all spoke to one another, getting to know each other and such, while one of their teammates slept, Rank #249, Jin Kowarenai.
Lonnie looked over slightly as he wondered about the mysterious guy, but he didn't want to poke or prod at what could've been a sleeping beast.

After the group got to know each other a bit, the tv came on and Ego had been shown again.
"The physical exam is now complete and you will all be re-ranked accordingly. 25 players have been eliminated from blue lock so keep in mind that these ranks are out of 275 now."
In response to Ego's words, everyone raised their left arms to see their badge change in front of their eyes. Everyone's ranks had been changed, and Lonnie's went from rank #250 to rank #225. It wasn't the best but it also wasn't the worst. However, Lonnie needed to grow so he could reduce that number to 1.

"Now my little diamonds in the rough... hope you got a good night's rest as we will begin the First Selection in 2 hours. It will be a Round Robin of sorts involving all 5 teams in this stratum. Only the top 2 teams will move on while the other 3 teams will be expelled from blue lock and will forfeit the chance to ever represent Japan in the World Cup. However for those 3 losing teams, there is a way to avoid elimination. That is to be the top scorer on your team."
Ego's cold eyes gleamed through the screen as he continued.
"Now you may be thinking, a team of 11 forwards? Well, that is how soccer started after all... soccer at its core was never the cooperation between 11 players, it was all about scoring goals. Throw away what you know as 'common sense'. Reprogram your brains and cram this new knowledge of soccer into your heads! Start from scratch...."
