As all seven individuals sat there in the room, in silence, there was an awkward aura filling the area. That is, until Kyoto broke the tension
"So, something you need?" Kyoto asked, sitting back and easing out of the tensed state that he was in along with everybody else.
Lonnie shook his head and looked over at Kyoto, simply pointing loosely at Jin
"Just looking for him. Speaking of, what are all of you doing here?" Lonnie asked, being slightly on edge of how suspicious this seemed.
The black dreaded boy spoke up in a cheerful yet devious manner, "Xen Kowarenai, nice to meet ya." He said, waving slightly.
"Kowarenai? Like..."
Kyoto cut off Lonnie, "As in Jin Kowarenai, yes. I'm Kyoto Kowarenai. We're brothers." Kyoto explained in a sort of disturbed manner.
"Okay well what about the other two?" Lonnie pointed at the dual hair colored boy and Luca.
Luca waved, "Shenyuan. Luca Shenyuan and we've already Met, remember?"
Lonnie nodded then looked over at the dual hair colored boy.
"Po Itsumia. I was just dragged along" Itsumia shrugged.
Lonnie stood there in confusion and rubbed his head a bit. He then looked at Jin, confused
Jin shrugged and looked at Kyoto, who sighed and made a gesture to Ollie and Lonnie, inviting them to join the conversation.
"We're just making an agreement. After every game, we'll come back here and talk about the teams we faced. I wish we all could've been on the same team but it didn't exactly work like that. So this is the best we've got." Kyoto told Lonnie and Ollie, filling them in on the deal made between the brothers and the plus one's they brought.
Lonnie nodded, understanding the gist of what this meeting was about."Anyways, Xen. What were trying to say about Team X?" Said Kyoto, now addressing his eldest brother
Xen huffed out a huge lump of air and swayed his body side to side as he explained,
"They aren't really that good. We won but not by much. With that being said, the reason their trash team kept up with us was because of their unique gameplay. Their formation is weak in defense but that Midfielder of theirs is a threat. Tanji Ken. I don't know why they don't got the guy as a forward but he is good either way. Pretty much their entire offense." Xen chuckled and leaned against Itsumia, who just scorched away from Xen.Lonnie raised his hand before briefly speaking,
"Wait, aren't you on Team Z? What could be difficult for you may just be easy for us on Team V."
Kyoto then spoke up, looking over at Lonnie,
"Xen's on Team Z sure but don't be mistaken, he's just as good as anyone here in this room. Well maybe except for Jin."'
Jin then waved again, before lowering his head again, slipping back into his sulking shadow.
Kyoto continued, "To be honest, if I were to guess everyone's ranking just out of who's currently in the room, Then I'd say that Itsumia is at 7th"
"Hurtful" Itsumia cut in, looking a bit depressed after that comment on his skill. However Xen pulled Itsumia's head in his chest, comforting the guy.
"Anyways, Itsumia Last, uhhh Ollie 6th, Xen 5th, Me 4th, You 3rd Lonnie, Luca 2nd, and Jin 1st."
Suddenly Ollie and Lonnie looked over at Jin, kind of confused.
"Really? During the game he didn't really show anything special." Ollie questioned.
"Yeah that's his problem. He's good but he's just lazy." Kyo exclaimed, rolling his eyes at his brother's negligence.
Jin groaned and looked over at Kyoto, a bit annoyed, "I'm gonna keep saying this; I'm not lazy, I just rather not exert too much energy if I don't need to. Aoi and Kanji can already carry the team. Same with Yoshio."
Everyone slapped their foreheads in unison before Xen interrupted the silence.
"ANYWAYS! Like I was saying, Tanji Ken is a real demon. Besides him though, their team sucks." Xen said, leaning back on the bed and loudly groaning, "Playing them wasn't fun at all"
Kyoto sighed and put his head down briefly before lifting it back up and speaking, "Then they aren't anything. As per our agreement, Team V is probably the strongest team in our unit. Defense isn't too much but if you forget to account that short speed demon of theirs, say goodbye to the ball. And their offense is out of our league entirely. Aoi over here is a solid Mid-Fielder. He controls the offense like a tyrant and his dribbling isn't no joke. Broke a couple of our teammates. However his shot is predictable. He can't shoot straight for shit so he always tries to shoot out of hat-tricks, where he knows only he can get to it, that gives a lot of room for steals or saves."
Kyoto smiled as he looked over at Lonnie, who seemed a bit concerned.
"The hell? You giving them information on us? What kind of shit is that?" Lonnie argued, only to be quickly silenced by Kyoto.
"That's the deal. Feel free to give everybody here information on either me or Luca. Thing is we don't care who it is, information is information still. That's just how it is." Kyo said before returning back to his explanation, "Huff... Anyways The brute over here may be bully but he can get up. His jump and head shots made for a delay 1-2 combo between him and Aoi. Really ain't no way to get past it unless you can get up with him. And as for Jin.... Well, he's Jin."
Kyo looked over at everybody before standing up, and clapping his hands one strong time.
"Alright, class dismissed. Everyone's free to leave."Xen silently celebrated before standing up, grabbed Itsumia's arm and practically dragging him out of the room and to what would be presumed to be the direction of Team Z's dorms.
Kyo did the same with Luca except it was in the direction of Team Y's dorms.
And lastly, Jin stood up, stretching out his limbs with one big yawn and he made a 'follow me' motion with his hand at Lonnie and Ollie, who nodded at each other and followed Jin out of the dorm. Now walking down the hall, the three walked in silence, the echoes of their footsteps being the only noise for a while down the hall before Jin broke the silence, "You guys hungry?" He asked, slightly turning his head to them as they approached the cafeteria, which was pretty much empty this time of night, which happened to be sometime during Midnight by now.
Lonnie nodded slightly while Ollie stayed quiet.
"Good. Come." Jin said as he approached the machine, putting his shoulder to the scanner which had scanned his ranking before dispensing a nice warm tray of Oyakodon along with a cup of warm Vanilla Tea and a pair of chopsticks. He looked at the food and shrugged before taking the tray and walking off to a table.
Lonnie and Jin did the same thing, receiving the same dish, however Ollie's had small warm fish added to the side along with 3 lobster sushi. He smiled and walked to the table Jin was at.
Lonnie, a bit jealous looked at his dish, seeing that his was made almost the exact same way as Jin's the only difference being that Lonnie's had slightly less contents, only missing bits and pieces here or there. He sighed and walked to the table as well. Now sitting down, Lonnie looked at Jin as he ate, seeing how Jin was scarfing down his food like an animal however he had a blank look on his face.
"Jin." Lonnie called out.
Jin looked up with his cheeks stuffed with food. He mumbled a small, "Hm?" As he tilted his head.
Lonnie looked slightly disgusted but didn't mind it all that much, brushing it off before asking, "How'd you and your brothers end up at Blue Lock?" Lonnie asked, now having a curiosity peak since the conversation between all of them.
Jin paused eating for a second before swallowing his food and taking a sip from his drink, "Me and my brothers lived in a shitty household. . . Mom and Dad fought a lot. To cope with it, I tried sleeping through it. Put so much strain on my melatonin cycle that I'm always tired and fatigued. As for Xen, his mind broke a bit, he would always protect us from the horror and in doing so, the stress on his mind caused him to break bit by bit. Kyo, the youngest of us, got stuck with depression. Now his sadness is more so being channeled into anger... and uhh... we found comfort in Soccer. It kind of became a place of escape for us. So we played and played and eventually we got the invite from Blue Lock, same as you. We were scared about leaving our Mom and Dad alone together in fear that the arguments might escalate, but after Dad hit Kyo, me and Jin lashed out at him and beat him senseless. I'm fear of being punished, we came to Blue lock to escape. Pretty sad story right?" Jin chuckled as he finished his food and slurped down his tea.
Lonnie and Ollie's jaws had been dropped, hearing how much trauma they went through. Lonnie spoke up, "S-sorry you—" Lonnie was cut off. Jin shook his head "Don't do that. Being pitied is so much more of a hassle than being hit." Jin put the cup down and stood up, taking his tray.
"Bit of advice Aoi: If Kyo ever asks you to set me straight, don't listen to him... I prefer not to exert too much energy. It's just such a hassle.." Jin groaned before leaving.Lonnie and Ollie sat there, thinking for a moment. They looked at each other before sighing.
Ollie finished his food and stood up, "I'm going to go to sleep. See you tomorrow, Aoi." Ollie said as he patted Lonnie on the back and walked off.Lonnie sat there alone in his own thoughts. He then turned around to see himself staring him in the eyes. The Lonnie that had just randomly appeared had a shackle around it's neck, with a chain connected to it that went all the way down to the floor. It just stood there, staring at Lonnie who just stared back.
Lonnie got out of his seat and said nothing, walking off while the false Lonnie just watched him leave,
Not even blinking an eye.
