Halfway through the night, everyone was sleeping, their minds at ease and their bodies slumped in their slumber. Everyone was tired and their muscles felt like they were being torn thanks to the constant playing and working out. However this was to be expected.

With everyone in the building sleeping, the vibe was quiet and calm, however there was one intense factor who seemed incapable of soothing his mind. Lonnie Aoi couldn't sleep.
His mind was racing in the Team V dorm and his thoughts were bouncing around all over the place. He looked up to the ceiling for what seemed like hours, contemplating plays in his head. Every scenario, every outcome that would come with each individual movement that he made. The details circulating in his head caused a sharp pain to go through his head. He stood up and tossed the covers off of himself, walking out of the Team V dorm.

He walked through the hallways, idly aching from his noggin. But the pain didn't last and soon subsided as a sudden chill came to his body as he turned the corner into a main hall. The reason for this chill was the voice of a certain someone who had been lurking in the shadows and never physically met up close in person.

"Trouble sleeping, Aoi?" The mysterious voice said, coming from a low and raspy diaphragm with a eerie high pitch.
"Yeah, I would also be restless if i had to carry around the dumpster fire that is Team V."

Lonnie slowly creaked around, looking towards the initiator of the conversation, already knowing who it was from the tone of voice.
"Jinpachi Ego..." Lonnie muttered, finally turning to see the slim man leaned against the wall with his hands stuffed into his pockets.
"Present." Ego responded, pushing himself off of the wall and turning his body towards Lonnie.

"What are you talking about? Team V ain't no where near trash. Were the best aren't we?-"
"-Best at my foot." Ego cut Lonnie off as the grin on his face dropped. "There are a multitude of teams in this building and you believe that you guys are the best? Give me a break.."

Lonnie scoffed and rolled his eyes, suddenly widening them as he saw that same clone standing behind Ego. This time, it's hair was dyed black with grey streaks going through it. It still had the same face as Lonnie but it's demeanor was much more intense. The chain seemed to be getting longer and longer each time their gaze met however, this is the first time there has been a physical change in the appearance.

"You can see it, can't you? The path to becoming the best striker.. Walk to it. Grab it and take hold. Become one with it, Lonnie Aoi. Become the best." Ego shouted, getting up close to Lonnie's ear and uttering the last sentence.

Hearing Ego, Lonnie walked towards the figure, taking each step with purpose. The atmosphere got thick and Lonnie seemed to be actively losing his breath, unable to catch it. He got face to face with the figure and went to grab it however there seemed to be some invisible force blocking the way. Lonnie pressed as hard as he could however he couldn't get through to grab the figure.
The "Other" Lonnie stared down at the real one, with a blank stare. And it spoke.
"Aoi.... Aoi...."
"AOI!!"

"Huh?" With a quick jolt, Lonnie seemed to have teleported, or rather, woken up from his trance. He was in the middle of the soccer field and was suddenly caught off guard by a Green jersey flying past him. He blinked and looked down to see Yoshio pulling at his jersey, sweating and tired.
"Morning, Aoi. Time to kick it off autopilot and get to work, we're down right now." Yoshio said, point up to the scoreboard to show the score changing into a bigger point deficit:

Team W - 3
Team V - 1

Lonnie quickly realized where he was. That interaction he just had was nothing more than a clouded false reality that he created while being zoned out. He snapped himself back into reality and gauged the situation.
"What do you need me to do?" He asked, looked down at Yoshio.
