After Kyoto's announcement, Team V got unsteady. They wondered what Kyoto had in store, but they already had a pretty good idea.
Kyoto kicked the ball forwards before accelerating, with it. He ran past his entire team, attracting the attention of Luca who ran parallel with him.
Kyoto looked over at saw Luca, formulating a plan in his head as they approached Team V's front line.Lonnie was in the middle of rushing back but his speed wasn't too great. He got left behind with nothing to say but, "WATCH THE 1-2 QUICK!"
Lonnie's words resonated with the the middle line of Team V, who stepped up along with the front line to assist in stopping the ball.
Kyoto groaned, "Move" before he split Ollie and Jin apart in order to blitz pass and create an opening.
However, Yoshiro showed up again, having ran through using his small frame to easily zip through and try to intercept the pass. However, the ball never even got kicked.
Kyo faked the ball to the point where it looked real, demonstrating some excellent tactics. After watching Yoshiro go jumping past, Kyoto kicked the ball through the middle line of defense, perfectly for Luca to receive and continue to the charge forwards. With a smile on his face, Luca's speed increased as he got explosive instead of fast. He kept bursting out in sharp cuts, making his moves hard to read.
Finally, someone broke their charge. It was none other than Chinatsu, rank 228 and rocking double zeros. Chinatsu slid through and poked the ball from Luca's feet, having predicted his move. However, this was futile as Kyoto was prepared. He had came up and picked the ball right up with a quick rainbow flick to continue his forwards match, using Luca as bait to get past the defense.
Kyo was now through, now at the penalty arc. Kyo move forwards a couple of paces before reeling his foot back and staring the goalie dead in the eyes, only to launch the ball at the left of the goal. Sango, the goalkeeper had jumped just a little too late and with that, the ball went in, making the score now 1 to 1, with aTeam V was shocked and so was Team Y. Both teams stood stunned as Kyoto wiped the sweat from his face with his jersey and returned to Team Y's goal. He then crouched down and looked at everyone.
"Well? Let's continue, yeah?"Lonnie huffed as he returned to his position, ashamed of himself for not being able to get back and held out the team to stop Kyoto. But at the same time, Lonnie wouldn't have been able to do much anyways. Sure Lonnie is good but his speed is lacking. As a matter of fact, all of his physical statured were lagging, which is something that affected his gameplay drastically.
With everyone back into their positions, the restart whistle blew and the ball flowed through formation, ending up at Lonnie's feet. However, Lonnie broke formation and gave the ball up to the right midfielder, Hikaru. Hikaru received the ball and stopped, having major confusion which was signified by his head tilt. He shrugged before running with the ball, leaving Lonnie behind.
As Hikaru ran forwards, Yoshiro ran parallel with him, looking back to see Lonnie still standing there, in his own headspace. Yoshiro then looked away before putting his hand up, allowing for Hikaru to see him.
"Hikaru! The ball please!" Yoshiro blurted in a monotoned shout. I, which Yoshiro received only for him to step on the ball and stare at the oncoming defenders.
"Aoi.. Pay close attention.." Yoshiro announced to Lonnie before his body tilted forwards. At that same instant, The defender that came to stop him, which was Ohta Isao, had stopped in his tracks. This was because Isao thought that Yoshiro was a ghost. The reason for this odd thought was because in Isao's point of view, Yoshiro ran straight through his body.
