cw: needles, mention of drug use
"Here are the scores for all the teams." All Might waved a hand in front of a large screen. The scores lit up the screen, the names Ashido, Todoroki, Jirou, and Kaminari flashing across it. "Ashido's team wins with one flag, and a bonus is added to their team for stealing the flag Jirou's team acquired from Kaminari's team."
Bakugou made a sound of frustration through his teeth, diverting his gaze from the rest of the group. You rolled your eyes. As the game had gone on, you'd been careless for the rest of it. Because it didn't matter if you had won or not.
You reached into your pocket, fiddling with the vial of darkness sitting quietly there. You looked at Tokoyami, who was standing silently in a corner with the rest of his team as All Might read out the last of the teams and their scores. While Tokoyami's eyes were averted towards the screen and the names that clashed across it, Dark Shadow's eyes seemed to linger on you. The demon's eyes were glued on you.
You tried to ignore the shiver it sent up your spine. Your entire body was stiff, so you rolled your shoulders, pretending to be nonchalant, though the act was for nobody but yourself.
The vial seemed to shudder in your pocket, vibrating in some strange, ghoulish way. You stifled the confused noise in your throat as All Might clapped his hands and directed everyone back to the change rooms.
"We would have won if we didn't have such a shit leader," Bakugou commented as he walked past you, muttering his hate to Kirishima.
"Aw, c'mon man, it was a solid win for our team, don't you think?" Kirishima pat him on the back, giving him a toothy smile. Bakugou only shoved his hand off his shoulder in frustration. You resisted the urge to curl your lip in distaste at Kirishima. Why would he try so hard with such a rude person? In all honesty, you were friendly to the class, but that didn't mean you desired to be friends with any of them. They were a sweet bunch, truly. But definitely not your bunch. There was no one you really cared about who went to the school.
You scoffed. "We would have done just fine if you were doing your job." You sped up, taking steps larger than you usually would have to get past the angry boy and meet up with the rest of your female classmates to go and change.
"Shut the hell up!" Bakugou called after you.
Though you would have snickered at how easily you crawled under his skin, part of the reason you were walking so desperately fast was because of the unphased gaze that was locked on you.
Dark Shadow watched in silence as you passed.

The girls were buzzing with excitement about the day.
"You were fantastic, Ashido!" Hagakure exclaimed, pulling on her skirt.
You tugged on your own uniform, addressing your appearance in the small mirror in the lockerroom.
"You really were," Yaoyorozu said, blushing thoughtfully. "You were too, Y/n."
You looked up. "Hm? Oh, yeah, thanks Yaoyorozu."
She smiled, brushing a tendril of long black hair from her eyes. "You can call me Yaomomo. The rest of the class does."
You pressed your lips together with a thin smile. You were tired from the day. You wouldn't try to hide it. "Yeah, thanks. You said so already, I just forgot. Thank you. You were amazing, too."
You continued fixing yourself up.
"Oh," Yaoyorozu muttered, clutching her uniform to her chest. Her shoulders hunched over her tall frame. "Thank you. I appreciate that, Y/n."
