"A school dance?" Uraraka's eyes lit up.

Aizawa massaged the bridge of his nose. "Yes, don't get too excited about it." His tired eyes glared at Kaminari and Kirishima. "Because if you haven't handed in late assignments and finished all your homework, you won't be going." Their pumped fists shrunk back, and they gave each other a sidelong glance.

"It'll be happening a month from now. So you have that much time to continue your work," Aizawa continued. "We'll be voting for a theme for the dance. There are three options all the classes can choose from."

The options lit up on a screen behind him.

Ashido pushed her chair out from beneath her and gasped. "A tropical theme? What would we even wear for that? Oh! Or a starry night theme? Like, imagine the decorations for that one! Oh my gosh, a masquerade? Let's do that one!"

"Calm down and sit."

Ashido groaned, slumping back down in her seat.

Mineta swiped at his mouth, licking his lips. "I hope we get a tropical dance. Imagine all the skimpy little outfits the girls are―"

A shoe went flying across the room. "Shut the hell up, pervert!" It was Sero's. He fist-bumped his friends, snickering with them before Aizawa began scolding them, too. The noisy group shut their mouths and watched their teacher continue, rubbing the sleep from his dry eyes.

The screen behind Aizawa flickered off, and he raised his gaze from the floor. "For the bad news. You all remembered to study for the test today?"

The class groaned collectively. Your eyes stayed glued on Bakugou as he chewed the eraser of his pencil, eyes wandering until they met your stare.

"What?" He grimaced at you.

You shrugged. "Nothing."

You couldn't lie. There was part of you that was confused. Tokoyami was still away, likely tending to Dark Shadow. Deep down, you did hope everything was okay, though you always felt foolish for it. But with Bakugou...upon neutralizing his blood sample, he seemed to be just fine. He was coming to school, his appearance was healthy as usual. His performance in class didn't differ from any other days.

You guess it was because Dark Shadow was a separate entity from Tokoyami, though he was technically Tokoyami's quirk. And you stole the very essence from Dark Shadow. Stealing from him wasn't like cutting off a chunk of skin from someone. But it was as if Dark Shadow was an entire soul, one that was connected to every piece of itself on every level.

Bakugou was not. He was only human, just like everyone else.

"A school dance? You have to pay a fee for a ticket to get in? It's a damn school dance. And why the hell you wanna go so badly, anyway?"

You clasped your hands together. "Please, Dabi. I'll pay you back."

"How do you even know I have the money?"

"Because when you first joined the league I'd snoop around a lot and steal shit from you."

He stood up from where he was lounging. "You what?"

"Oh great and powerful Dabi, please spare what little rations you stole from innocent bystanders," you deadpanned, cupping your palms and holding them out for him.

"Fuck off."

"Dabi, oh my gosh," you sighed, rubbing the bridge of your nose. "How many times have I done stuff for you? I don't get it. The ticket isn't even that expensive. Stop whining and hand over your money."
