Bakugou was going to take your neck and strangle you until he watched the life leave from your eyes.
He banged on the door one more time. Kirishima had dragged him to Yaoyorozu's birthday party, and it was stupidly fancy. Almost terrifyingly fancy.
But Kirishima had convinced Bakugou's mom to let him come, though he didn't even want to. Kirishima even went through the trouble of getting a 'joint gift', and Bakugou did indeed pay his half so he wouldn't owe his friend later on.
And because of that, the two boys had been tardy to the birthday party. He was shocked Yaoyorozu had even invited him at all.
They had just gotten there and Bakugou needed the bathroom. Badly.
He had worked out an hour before and chugged copious amounts of water beforehand and holy mother of whatever he was going to absolutely―
"Y/n! What the hell is taking so long! You've been in there since we got here! What are you doing? Get out!"
"Hold your piss in, Bakugou," you said, oddly calm.
"I don't need to piss I just need the damn bathroom!"
"What? You need to shit instead?"
"What the hell? No! Just open it! What are you doing in there?"
The door swung open and he took in the beautiful black-blue of your dress and the large purse you ahd slung over your shoulder. He couldn't lie, you would have looked decent in his eyes if he took the time to take it all in and didn't shove right past you, slamming the door and locking it.
"Stop giggling out there. I can hear you, dumbass!"
"My bad, Bakugou. You just look so stupid when you're desperate." The sound of your footsteps padded away, and finally, he was left in peace.
Bakugou washed his hands, wetting the tips of his fingers to run them through his hair. Just because his attitude was often barbaric, (according to other people) didn't mean he had to look the part.
Then he took a big whiff. Maybe it was the smell of some fancy rich-people perfume, maybe it was the smell of your perfume, or maybe someone before him had taken the biggest―
Whatever. It didn't matter.
It wasn't even that. It smelled oddly toxic. Sickly sweet, yet there was a bitterness hanging in the air that made his nostrils hurt.
There was a knock.
"Bakugou?" It was you. "Are you still in there? Can you open the door?"
"No, I'm prettying myself and taking my sweet time. Go take a shit somewhere else."
"Your voice is close to the door. You're not even on the toilet anymore. Can you let me in?"
There was a hint of concern in your voice. Not a hint. There was plenty, and you were doing a terrible job of concealing it.
"What do you want?" He snapped.
"I just left something in there. Can I please grab it?"
He remained quiet and crept around, the floorboards barely creaking underneath his weight. He leaned down, searching around the toilet, underneath the sink, to wherever his nose led him next.
The smell was strongest in the shower, behind the curtain. It was a large bathroom, but somehow you'd managed to infect the place with whatever ugly attitude you had on you today.
"Bakugou." The doorknob jiggled. "Can you open the door?" The movement of the doorknob became more frantic. "I'm coming in whether you like it or not!"
