Jisungs POV

Me and felix strolled through the aisles of the store searching for things seungmin would like as a gift. We were helping hyunjin out and also we're gonna make sure he doesn't eat the gift like he did the note...

"hmmm, what about this? does he like stuffed animals?" I picked up a stuffed cat and showed it to felix. He hummed and thought about it.

"I don't know, maybe a different animal?" felix said. I put the cat down and scanned the shelf's for any other cutie animals.
I found a small elephant and knew right away that it was the one.

"Here, this is perfect!" I said grabbing it and putting it in the small basket felix was holding.
"yess" felix smiled. We both knew it was gonna light up seungmin's day.

we walked to the checkout where we met hyunjin who had a LOT of snacks in his cart.

"woah, isn't that a little much hyun?" felix asked. Hyunjin faced him with a nervous face.

"I didn't know what to get and what not to get, i jsut got everyone that came to mind. It was a lot but it's okay, right?" he spoke quickly. I chuckled at his nervousness, and put my hand on his shoulder.

"look, it's gonna be okay hyunjin. Don't be as nervous as you are right now because i guarantee he'll say yes. okay?" I reassured him. he smiled and nodded,
"thanks." he said. I nodded and faced felix.

"we got an elephant plushy for him, and some extra candies he likes. So what you're gonna do is put together a gift basket with all his favorite things and a notecard. you got a notecard right?" I asked and he nodded.
"perfect! We will help you assemble it at the dorms but for now, you better get to paying. You got a lot!" I laughed. He laughed along and started paying and putting stuff in bags. The total came to about 78$ plus tax. Seungmin was real lucky!

We drove back to the college and headed up to hyunjins dorm. I was excited to assemble the gift because it's fun doing those types of things.

We entered and started getting things out of the bags and setting them on the dining room table.

"okay, give me that basket." I said, pointing to the purple semi-big basket that was covered in colorful flowers. Felix handed it to me and I started packing the candies and chips and extras one by one by height.

"woah, this actually looks amazing." Hyunjin said as I finished and made it look pretty. I shrugged and smiled.

"what can I say, I'm just that good." I said, crossing my arms.
Hyunjin finished writing the note in the notecard and handed it to me to proofread.

you are one of the best people I've ever met, and i truly truly never regret meeting you. You are such an amazing, bright, kind, and caring person and it brightens my day just to see you smile. I don't know if you'll believe me but i've liked you since the day we met, and have ever since. I love seeing you happy and seeing your face everyday. I don't want to see you as just a friend anymore seungmin, I want to see you as the person I get to kiss and hug and wake up next to in the morning. I want to see you as the person I go to when life isn't treating me the best, or the person I introduce to my parents. I hope you like this offer gift to ask you

As I read down the lines, my heart got warm. I never knew hyunjin could be so sweet and soft with his words.

"hyunjin this is amazing!" Felix said after reading over my shoulder. I nodded and smiled.

"he will love it, i'm sure." I said, putting the notecard into the basket and handing it to hyunjin.
