CHRIS KNEW ALL OF HER FAULTS. He knew about her past addictions, her rootless childhood. He knew how she steered clear of commitment like it was the plague. So naturally, he had sworn off a relationship with her. Delia was not someone he could be with that way. Although he loved her, and cared more for her, (possibly more than she cared for herself,) he knew they were never a possibility.
BUT WITH RECENT EVENTS, Chris' breakup,Delia's living situation and her recent pledge to sobriety, the thought of them entered back into his mind. He tried to ignore it, to no avail.
