Okay hi its me, ofc your favorite person ever. I figured this would be helpful especially for people who might not know what the goldfinch is. Obviously with your character she can look anyway you want, or if you don't want to read it like a reader insert go off the picture and name her whatever the fuck, letting her just be a character in a book, go for it.

Boris pavlikovsky

Age at the start of book: 15
Hair: messy raven curly
Eyes: a deep onyx
Body: thin and lean, Melnourished, Very sharp features, typically covered with different bruises or wounds, pale freckled skin, variety of scars.

Hes both intelligent and street smart. From traveling so much schools don't really know where to academicly place him, and he often has already do the unit or has a basic understanding, that being how he got put in theos ap class. More then not he acts on impulsiveness. Though a smartass and a dick he is an incredibly loyal and sweet friend. Boris is known for being fatally devoted to girls, but the girl in question always changes in shorts periods of time. He has a tendency to take his friends stuff without asking, but in return if you mention you like somthing he'll leave it in your room. Example he takes theos money occasionally, and once theo showed interest in a pocket knife that belong to his dad, Theo found in in his backpack. He isent a good influence and involves people he loves in his destructive habits. His father is a cruel abuser and beats the actual shit out of him, usually resulting in cracked ribs, bruises, cuts or sprains. He's been through alot and protects himself from his pain and loneliness by pretending nothing bothers him. Boris wants to live life to the fullest. He's often seen in graphic tees, a blazer, or a red sweater paired with a pair of black jeans. He has both a pair of black boots and worn out converse. He also always carry around an umbrella due to his hatred of the sun.
