Had to reupload cus of some shit.
Midoriya Izuku is a man of many fears. Fear of being abandoned, courtesy of his deadbeat dad who up and left the day he was deemed quirkless. Countless nights spent asking his mother, "When's daddy coming back," and never receiving a proper answer.
Fear of being alone. He's glad to have all kinds of friends at UA, but he knows that a the rate he's going with his life, he'll end up alone when he's older. He often dreams that he'll take down All For One at the cost of his own life and die a painful death with no one at his side.
And fear of being yelled at for arriving late. That was implanted in his mind by his mom when she would scold him for arriving home late. It's not so much that he's scared of his mom. It's that he's scared of yelling. Like, there's no point in raising your voice. Just say what you wanna say in a calm and collected manner, and yelling at someone will only intimidate them and cause them to be afraid of you.
So now he has no doubt that his classmates are gonna yell at him for not arriving at the dorms last night. First of all, why the fuck should they care where's he's at. It's not Izuku's job to remind them every thirty minutes about his location. They should mind their own business. Second of all, there is no second of all. Just mind your own fucking business
He swears that his class exaggerates every little fucking thing. One time, he brought over his mother and everyone was all up in their business asking questions that shouldn't fucking matter to them. He just wanted to spend time with his mother and his annoying classmates fucking ruined it by not shutting the fuck up. Even his mother agreed that they were a bit much. And she's a Saint with a fuck ton of patience. If she got annoyed, then that's a problem.Deciding to get this over with Izuku walked into the dorms and expected the worst.
". . ."
Huh?
If by the worst he means a pouting Jirou looking awfully adorable, then yes this is the worst.
"And where were you last night mister? I go back to my room to find you not there and then I see my guitar is messed up?" She glared at him but dialed it back a bit realizing that the boy must have something going on for him to do that. "What's wrong Izuku?"
He felt guilty. He really did. Damaging her personaly property was not cool whatsoever. Izuku planned to explain things to her, properly. His issues, why he does what he does and pay her back for the damages to her guitar.
"Sorry Jiri." He held his arm in shame. Damn he hated this feeling of guilt. "I promise I'll tell you one day." Jirou sighed knowing that she shouldn't be mad at the guy who's clearly suffering from something.
"It's fine really. I just wanna know if you're ok." She was very worried for him.
"I will be, trust me Kyouka." He smiled at her, and she blushed. And whether it was because of she liked seeing his smile or loved hearing him say her name, she'll never tell.
