3rd person POV:
Vincenzo's and Mr.Hong's conversation was cut off by a knock at the door.
Much to their hesitation, Mr.Hong still went to open the door.
There stood Y/N with a soft smile on her lips. Vincenzo anxiousness was increasing, he thought she heard everything about his mother.
But then Y/N said.
"Getting drunk I see, but I won't be helping you guys again." She laughed.
Seeing her carefree nature, they assumed that she didn't heard anything.
Little did they know that she stood outside from the beginning.
Y/N's POV
I couldn't think anything straight at the moment and decided to act normal, which was really hard.
"Helping again?" Vincenzo asked confused.
"You don't remember? She was the one who helped us to get back at the Plaza that day." Mr.Hong said.
This bitch ain't even thankful.
His frown only deepened, I walked up to him and flicked his forehead.
"Don't force your pea sized brain too much" I said and moved into the kitchen.
He glared at my back.
"What's for dinner?" I asked and was only replied by silence.
I turned around to see Mr.Hong smiling awkwardly.
"You see, there was a problem so I didn't get any time to cook." He said while Vincenzo was looking down.
"Do you have leftover rice and kimchi?" I asked looking for an apron.
"Please, I am not in the mood to get sick today." Vincenzo replied indifferently.
"Excuse me!?" I said offended.
Mr.Hong laughed.
"Yes I do have leftover rice and kimchi, are we making kimchi fried rice?" Mr.Hong said.
"Yes! Let's prepare it!" I said clapping my hands together and started cutting veggies and collecting spices for the same.
I mixed rice with the gravy.
"It smells good!" Mr.Hong complimented while I smiled unaware of attentive gaze of particular someone on me.
"Yup!" I started preparing plates to serve kimchi. We all sat down at the dining table and started digging in the kimchi, at least I did.
"It's delicious!" Mr.Hong said. I smiled at this but it dropped when I saw Vincenzo giving a sceptical look to the kimchi.
"You might have poisoned it." He said looking bored. "If abeoji had poison in his house, I would have put it in your dish gladly." I gave him a sickly sweet smile.
To my surprise he smiled at my response and started eating.
"Not bad." He said chewing the rice.
I rolled my eyes and proceeded eating.
"I bet he can't even prepare rice."
I murmured under my breath but it's didn't go unnoticed by him.
"I can cook rice." Vincenzo replied with emphasis on the word cook.
"Is that so? I find it hard to believe. " I responded mockingly making his face twist in offense.
"I am a great cook! Close to being a chef and y-"
Before he could complete his sentence I scoffed loudly.
Our interaction was making Mr.Hong anxious, not for us but for his house.
What if they start fighting right here? Moreover break things?
Thought a certain aged lawyer and tried to calm down the two rivals.

Next Morning:
My slumber was interrupted by a call.
As usual, it was seonbin.
"Do you have something against my sleep?" I said annoyed.
"Yes and no. See today's news, now."
He asked with seriousness laced in his voice.
I frowned and turned my laptop on to check the headlines.
"Around 3:30 a.m there was an incident, believed to be a gas explosion at a villa in Yanyang Gangwon Province. Employees of Babel pharmaceuticals Drug Development Division were at the villa for company getaway were caught in explosion, which took lives of 14 researchers." The reporter said.
