My eyes widen at the scene in front of me.
Everyone was gathered in the restaurant with Chayoung standing in the middle with her back facing towards me.

"Happy Birthday!!"
They all shouted and turned around with a big smile on their faces

But.

You see....

I was pointing a gun straight at them, moreover at Chayoung who you know don't act well in panic.

As per experience.

Her eyes widen at my figure holding a gun pointed at her. She gasped,putting her hands in the air and accidentally dropped the cake which fell on the floor with a slight sound- 'psch.'

Silence fell through the room.

Everyone gazes was on cake on the floor which I think they prepared for me.
I blinked in disbelief.

I didn't realise it was Y/B/D (your birth date) today.

I lowered my gun but couldn't find any words to say.

"You can't do one thing right!"

"Excuse me!? It was my plan to begin with!! If wasn't here, you stupid rats won't even think of it!"

And that's how the chaos began. Everyone began to curse at each other for ruining the plan or for the already ruined cake.

"Thanks."
At my small shy voice they turned towards me.

I don't get flustered easily but this, this is something no one ever did for me. I am grateful for them no matter the ruined cake.

"Sorr-" Vincenzo began but stopped at my soft laughter. Both of the influential men felt their heart skip a beat at this.

They all heard her laughter after a long time.

"It's fine. You all remembered, that's all what matters to me." I smiled at them while giving them a nod.
"But I worked so hard to make it." Toto said in a dejected voice looking at the fallen cake.
"It's alright, we will make another on-"

"I have one! I thought that cake won't be enough to share among all so I bought one." Miri took out a box from behind a counter and opened it to reveal a small but adorable cake.

"That's why you didn't let me touch that box!" Whined Mr.Nam.

Chayoung pulled me towards the table and made me stand in front of the cake while they all stood there with grins and began to sing - 'Happy Birthday'

I smiled awkwardly.

Can anyone tell me what to do during this time? Cause I feel like I am stuck in an unskippable ad which makes me hella awkward.

I cut the cake and pulled out the piece. I was contemplating who to give the first bite to and eventually after making an eye contact with Vincenzo and Seonbin, I turned towards Chayoung and fed her the cake's bite.

Both of them looked at Chayoung who was grinning while looking at them and wiggling her eyebrows as if saying-

She chose me suckers.

Vincenzo and Seonbin just stood there narrowing their eyes for a split of a moment and then returning back to normal.

"Time for gifts!!!!" Mr.Ahn exclaimed and all of them put a different type of wrapped box on the table. I became embarrassed at such amount of gifts. I have gotten many more items as a gift back in the day but this is something special for me.
