Next Morning:

I couldn't sleep properly after the incident causing my head to ache from time to time but I ignored it and got up from bed to freshen up.

I got into the bathroom and stood under the shower while staring blankly at the wall in front of me.

It feels surreal.
We came this far, feels like a hallucination.
Seonbin is alive.
Ms.Oh died.
Vincenzo's is furious.

I didn't know why but all this was beginning to get the best of me. I punched the wall with all my might but winced right after. I rubbed my red wrist and then ran a hand through my hairs.

If this keeps up, I might go crazy.

I turned on the shower and let the water relax my muscle and mind.

Meanwhile:

With Vincenzo-

Mr.Choi put a briefcase on the counter of Vincenzo's kitchen and looked at him.
"Why don't we just kill Jang Han Seok and Choi Myung hee and get over with this?"

"This isn't for revenge, I am playing a game of chess." Vincenzo examined the gun in his hand while loading bullets in it.
Then he looked at Mr.Choi and nodded at him while saying.
"And I am going to move my pawn today."

"Alright then everything is ready."

He went out and at the same time the door of his neighbour opened.
They both looked at each other but none of them said a word.

I could see the look of downcast in his eyes, cause no matter how surprising it was.
I could read him very well.

Vincenzo didn't make any effort to communicate and just turned on his heels to move downstairs and I copied his suit.

I should give him little time but I won't leave his side.

I got down after greeting the tenants with a small 'hello', I went to the garage to take my car. On the way I got a call from an unknown number.

I frowned a little but pick it up anyway,
"Y/N speaking."
My voice came out more monotonous than I expected.
"Vincenzo's mother funeral went good?"
Just hearing those words made my blood boil but I kept my demeanour.

"Choi Myung Hee. Why putting your life in danger?" I could hear her breath hitch a little at the other side of the call.
"We just want you all to know that this isn't over." She said while masking confidence making me almost chuckle.

"Finally something we agree over."
I hung up and got into my car driving off to my company.

The moment I entered the halls of my company, I saw most of the people gathered there.
My face contorted in confusion.
"What's happening here?" My authoritative voice echoed in the halls causing everyone to turn and bow to me.
"Mam, actually-"

One of the employee began to speak when a loud and very familiar voice shouted-

"That's ny office! I was the CEO!"

"That's exactly what I have been trying to say! You were the CEO."
Another voice chimed in which was also familiar.

I walked through the crowd and Ms.Kang arguing with a man whose back was facing me. I walked towards them and Ms.Kang's took notice of me and bowed.

"Now who dares to-!"
He stopped in mid sentence when he turned around to look at me. I saw him gulp and look at me with a weird expression.

Something in between fear and.....hesitancy?
It was fear I guess.
