Beep Beep Beep Beep Be- the dreaded sound of the alarm clock was quickly shut off. "Why can't it be the weekend?" You asked yourself while slightly sitting up and looking around your new bedroom. Boxes were littered everywhere and so we're some of your clothes. You lazily look over to your closet door and see the pair of scrubs hanging up. It took a moment in your tired mind to register what exactly you were looking at but as soon as it hit you, you jumped out of bed like the new house was on fire. "Oh crap!" You yelled while running out of the room and you grabbed the scrubs while running by the closet.

"I can't be late on the first day," you muttered to yourself while rushing to the bathroom while undressing mid-run. You were fully undressed by the time you got to the bathroom and you quickly started the shower and hopped in. It was still dreadfully cold but you had no time to waste. You wanted to be the first one at your new job to meet with your new boss. After finishing your shower, you half-ass brush your teeth, apply deodorant, and quickly get dressed. "Crap," you say out loud while brushing your rats nest of hair. After it was all brushed you put it up into a high ponytail and apply some lipgloss and mascara. You take one final glance in the mirror and nod satisfied.

You scale the stairs down and grab your car keys off of the hanger near the front door of your new house. You just bought a house on 706 Meridian Avenue, Haddonfield Illinois. It is located near the old Myers house and that's probably why you bought the house at such an affordable price. You locked up the house and opened up your car's door. It's a bright red 1969 Dodge Challenger. You bought it with your first paycheque from your old registered nurse job at the hospital. Your father helped pay of course. You were only 17 when you started your nursing school and finished when 21. So he always wanted to help you out in any way possible since you were his only child. You smiled at the memories of your parents flooding back. They live in a different state even though they insisted on you staying in their state or them moving to Illinois with you. But you are an adult now and need to have life experiences without them hovering over you. You snap out of your thoughts start up your car and start the 30 minute drive to work.

Time skip~

"Okay (Y/N) you got this," you say to yourself as you stand in front of the entrance of the Smith's Grove Asylum. You stare up at the old sign and look at the sketchy building from left to right. "Here we go." You gulped and started to walk inside. A reception desk was the first thing you saw while walking in and on either side of the front door stood two security guards. They give you side glances with both tired and intrigued expressions. You shake their stares off and walk up to the receptionist. "Name?" She says tiredly. "(Y/N) (L/N)," you smiled weakly. The lady raises her eyebrow while looking at the screen in front of her. "Ah, you're the new nurse. Dr. Loomis's office is the first on the left down that hall," she looks up at you "Good luck, and never let your guard down." She smiles somewhat creepily. "Uhm thank you for your help," you say and start walking away. "They are going to eat her alive," you hear the receptionist mutter under her breath behind your back.

You shudder at her sudden statement and pick up your pace towards the office. This place made you feel drained. The white walls and simplistic floors and decorations were oddly unnerving. The very building sent chills down your spine. All that can be heard is the sound of your small footsteps and some clanking sound here and there. You finally made it to the door that had 'Dr.Loomis' written on it. You give some small knocks and are instantly replied with a muffled response. "Come in!" You open the door make your way inside and shut it behind you. "Ah (Y/N) I'm glad you came early. Please sit down and we'll talk for a brief moment and I'll give you a tour," Dr. Loomis said and gestured to the seat in front of him. You had previously met Dr. Loomis due to him being a family friend. He was shocked to hear you applied at the asylum but quickly found you a job.

"What did you want to talk about?" You asked curiously. "I'll cut straight to the point. It's the patients you'll be dealing with. Well more like one of them but we'll get to that soon. Every hour you must do rounds and check on your patients. You may sit with them between the hours but you must do hourly checks. Some may need medication some water or even some company. Feel free to do activities with your patients such as taking them out to the courtyard for a walk or doing crafts. I trust that you will contact me if anyone acts up," you nodded as soon as he said that.

"Y/N L/N.." Dr. Loomis asked with a stern tone this time. "Uhm yes sir," you say shakily. "I've personally known your parents during my youth and they asked me to hire you. Out of respect for them, I looked into your files and was pleasantly impressed with your report card. But I just have to warn you that this isn't like a nursing home by any means. You are going to be dealing with mentally unstable individuals who hurt people..who killed people," You gulp hearing that last part and Loomis notices that. He clears his throat "And then there's it. The devil itself."

You immediately get chills down your spine. "Its name is Micheal Audrey Myers. The Shape of Haddon Field. You moved a couple of houses down from where his destruction occurred. It murdered its sister, her boyfriend, and stepfather all on Halloween night. It is not to be taken lightly and to always have eyes on it 24/7," Dr. Loomis stated with a cold tone. "I will not refer to it as 'him' due to it being a monster. One would say the devil itself." You gulp and start to get uncomfortable. "And that's where you come in (Y/N), you will be Micheal's personal nurse. You need all your attention fully focused on it."

You deadpanned. He just says all the creepy stuff about your patient and now threw that last bit in there? He seriously couldn't have started with Micheal Myers is your patient! 'Way to set the mood Dr. Loomis' you thought and returned to the conversation. "Micheal is on floor two and in room 230. It's in the west hallway at the end of the corridor. If you need any help at all please call me or yell for the security guard stationed in front of its room." Dr. Loomis stood up and shook your hand. "It's a pleasure you're here (Y/N),"
