I lost the track of time and my hands started to cramp from all the writing and I was pulled away by my writing from my phone vibrating. I groaned and take a look at it and I leaned on my bed. Turns out it was ringing. I answered it and placed it near my ear.
-Hello? I asked and rubbed my eyes.
-Look out the window! Ukraine said happily and I forced myself to get up.
I peaked out the window and it was getting dark but I was able to see her wave with her arms at me.
-Come out! I wanna show you something! She announced from her phone and turned it off.
Jesus how long was I writing?
She walked towards the front door and I closed the curtain and shoved my phone in my pocket. I hold my right wrist with my left hand and twisted my right hand. I walked out of my room and closed the door behind me, switching off the lights. I ran downstairs and opened the door and she had a wide smile.
-Come! I have something to show you! She exclaimed and was wearing a jacket.
-Where are we going? I asked and she shook her head.
-Just grab your jacket and tell Aussie and Kiwi you're with me. It's going to be a long night! She pushed herself in and grabbed my hand and pulled me closer to her.
She made me follow her towards my brother's room and vigorously knocked on their door.
-What what? Oh, Ukraine! Wher- Aussie opened the door and was surprised.
-No time to explain! Since Canada refuses to look at his phone, this is what he gets! She explained and turned to me and gave a devilish smile.
-I still haven't taken a look at it. I said softly to myself but Ukraine turned back to Aussie.
-I don't know what time he will be back, but I do know he's in good hands! Ukraine said and jumped happily on her tippy toes.
-Canada can go without telling us, you know. Kiwi jumped in the conversation and leaning on the side of the wall.
Ukraine waved at them and pulled me and threw my jacket that was hanging from the coat. She hurried me to wear my shoes and closed the door.
-Okay, let's go! She zipped up her jacket and I hid my hands in my jacket.
-Mind explaining where we are going?
She kept quiet and slid her arm around mine and started to march proudly.
-The only thing I can say is that I'm helping you. She slowed down her steps and rested her head on my shoulder.
-...Helping me on what? I asked and swallowed my saliva.
-You'll see~. She smiled to me and squeezed my biceps a bit.
My heart skipped a beat and Ukraine let me go and started to run down the sidewalk. I started to catch up to her and she started to skip around and turning around herself with a big smile. When she saw me arriving next to her and grabbed both of my hands and forced me to turn around as well. She giggled when I stumbled on my feet and continued down the path.
After running and turning between us, she calmed down and finally showed where we were. We arrived at a park with a tree house. There were some children but the house was full of graffiti that the parents refuses to let the children get close.
Ukraine started to climb the rottening wooden ladder up and told me to come up as well. I followed and instead of staying on the normal floor, she stepped on a chest and hoisted herself up to sit on the roof. She helped me up as well and leaned on the tree.
-Are we allowed up here? I asked and leaned next to her and watched as the children went back to their parents.
-If we weren't, why would there be a hole? She asked and shrugged.
-Looking at the ladder, I would've said it rot a hole.
-A perfect hole? Impossible. She laughed a bit and pulled up her hood since there were stronger winds.
-So, what's so important? I asked and she turned with a cheeky smile.
She searched in her pockets from her jacket and pulled out 2 cans of coca cola. She handed me one and I took it, not understanding what she's doing.
-Coca Cola? I know there were some stuff that we couldn't have in the hospital but Coca Cola isn't one of them. I joked acting offended and she pushed me gently with her shoulder.
-After the talk with you explaing about America and stuff, I got into thinking. She started and I got comfortable next to her. About all the stuff that we didn't do! So...
She opened a can and let me sniff. My eyes opened widely and I looked up shocked. It was beer.
-You will get your first drink! And not alone! She said happily and I pulled away.
-... Quick question, did you call Kiwi? I asked and forced myself to open the one she gave.
-He just told me you were out, that's it. He was at the receptionist when he told me. She said and I nodded.
He said absolutely nothing.
-Cheers! She exclaimed and clinked our can and was hyping me up to take my so called first sip.
She seemed so happy that I didn't want to ruin it so I acted out all disgusted. She laughed at my reaction and I just followed her. When she was showing me how to chug, I looked around where we were. It felt so familiar.
-And since I knew that there would be children, I changed the label! She explained with a proud voice but quiet down when she noticed I wasn't paying attention. Canada? What are you thinking about?
-This place. It feels familiar but I can't remember anything.
There was a silence before Ukraine rested her head on my shoulder. I kept my eyes straight ahead as I felt Ukraine wrapping her arms around mine.
-This might help... She said softly before exposing my palm and gently pulling my fingers one by one and singing. He loves me, he loves me not. He loves me, he loves me not!
She continued on until my last finger and turned to me.
-... He loves me not. She smiled softly, but that isn't how my memory went.
-He loves me. You won. I said as that memory replayed again, this time I can see her eyes.
-Uh oh, there isn't enough petals. She said and closed my fingers. Last time we did this, it was in a field. We sat under this tree and it's the only original before it got turned into a playground.
-... Who were you singing about?
-Oh, a guy that I liked.
I hummed understanding that she didn't want to go further into explanation.
