"Mr Lane, there is one guy here saying that he is going to see Miss Iris. Should I let him in?" Lucas showed his phone to the other two people in front of him.
"This guy is fast. Yeah, let him in after the regular check-up" Lucas permitted his bodyguard to give the permission.
After a few minutes, a handsome man arrived in front of their door.
"Who are you? Where is Iris?" Lucas got questioned right after he opened up the door.
"Can you at least greet first?"
The man does not care at all about Lucas and goes straight into the house. He shouts Iris's name a few times which makes Lucas get really mad but still tries to control it. But, he can't control it anymore and yanked the man's body far from Iris when he saw the man hugging Iris and calling her sweetheart.
"Don't you dare to do that to my little girl" Iris was surprised to see a new side of Lucas that she never saw before. She always saw the playful or serious Lucas but never this possessive side of his.
"Your little girl? She is my sweetheart! Sweetheart, who are they? How did you get out of that hell?" the man asked Iris but Lucas's heart is full of jealousy when he heard that Iris is his sweetheart.
"What the f*ck?! Who is your sweetheart?!" Lucas got really mad and he does not know why he is so irritated about it.
"Guys, stop it! Lucas, please calm down. Jay, don't lit a fire in here." Iris sighed watching these two men who is older than her fighting like a kid. Leo who is on the side also amazed by the drama he watches currently.
"Lil sis, you have many knights shining in the armour around you. I am glad" Leo chuckled when he got a side glare from his little sister.
Iris's gaze came back to the two men in front of her. She pulled Jay towards her left and Lucas to her right. Then she makes them sit beside her. She told them to stop fighting and after confirming that they agreed, she answered the questions that Jay asked her before. She also told him why she called him over to this house.
"I am in. It's my personal goal to break through their wall. To destroy those animals is my priority." She can see the anger in Jay's eyes. That is also what Jay always said to her during their time in that hell. Jay and Leo shook hands and agree to work together combining their hacking skills. However, only glared like lightning happened between Jay and Lucas.
"We're not finished yet," Lucas said to Jay.
"I don't say that we're done" Jay replied.
Iris closed her eyes and take a deep breath, controlling whatever was in her mind right now. Watching them still fighting like kids stresses her a bit but deep down in her heart, she loves this environment. She knows that she now has people whom she can trust her life with, someone that she can rely on, who can protect her, who can love her with a good nice intention, not with a disgusting lustful intention.
"Thank you all of you," Iris said not knowing her tears fall a little making them stop fighting and focus on her.
"Little girl, I am sorry. I am going to stop fighting now. Don't cry"
"Sweetheart, don't cry. I promise I am going to stop"
"Lil sis, let them reflect on what they should have. Come together to your room. You need your beauty sleep" Leo took her hand and laughed at both nervous men. Iris followed Leo to her room leaving them alone. Leo ruffled her hair and both of the siblings laughed together.
When they arrived at her room, Iris looked at the dreamcatcher hanging at the window remembering what Lucas said to her before. For you, to make you only have a good dream after this. Take all your nightmares. She smiled upon remembering that and how it now becomes true. Leo noticed the smile on her face and smiled too.
"Thank you, Brother Leo." She looks at him with teary eyes.
"Hey, honey. I told you before don't cry." Leo wiped her tears and bring her to her bed.
"I am not sad, I am happy and grateful that I met you guys" Leo hugged her tightly and give her a forehead kiss.
"I am happy too that I can have you as my little sister. Now, my cute lil sis, you have to sleep so that you can deal with the kids downstairs tomorrow." Iris laughed at that and nodded. Leo walked out of the room after tugging her in and turning off her room's light.
"Thank you for being my dreamcatcher too" she mumbled before slowly falling asleep on her bed.
