05 - Answer

After a few days of Iris staying with Lucas and Leo, she starts to feel comfortable around them. Not with fully trust them yet but she is starting to smile whenever she is with them. They are like a brother that she never dreams to have. The kind brother that really loves their little sister. That's what she thinks she felt from them because all of it is the opposite of what she usually felt before.

Today is the day she thinks she should give them the answer they're waiting especially, Leo. She wants to trust her instinct instead of her mind. She wants to take the one step she needed with them. Both of them are in the house today since they said they want to rest for a while and probably did not want her to be alone. She walked out of her room and saw they are sitting on the couch while watching the television.

She walked down the stairs as slowly as possible to not make any noise, but Lucas saw her and called her over. She took a deep breath and walked towards them. She stops beside Leo and looked straight at him which makes Leo wonder why.

"Do I have to call you Brother Leo?" Leo is speechless after hearing what Iris said.

"W-What? Did I hear you wrong?" Iris shook her head and that makes a smile appear on Leo's face.

"Oh, My God! My God! Thank you! Iris, thank you so much. Thank you for trusting me. Thank you. Can I hug you?" she nodded and Leo's immediately pulled her into his hug.

"I will protect you from every danger. You will only see happiness after this, okay?" he then kissed her forehead and hugged her back which makes Iris feels sentimental. She felt this before when her mother was still with her. Even though she was still a kid at that time, the feeling was still in her heart.

"Don't cry, honey. Smile. You are my little sister now" he wiped her tears which she does not know when it falls. Iris then gives a smile to him and then chuckled. Lucas saw the smile on her face and suddenly feels that his heart suddenly increasing its pace.

"You're the one who is crying" Iris wiped his tears and makes Leo laugh.

"Wow, I feel left out. I am not needed in here." Then both Leo and Iris looked at the owner of the voice.

"Don't you dare to have feelings with my lil sis, okay?!" Leo warned Lucas which makes Iris smile a bit and Lucas had a shocked face.

"Iris, I don't think you can have any boyfriend after this. You got a super ultra-protective brother. I can't help you anymore." Iris laughed watching the skit they have and that makes both the gentlemen smile too. They're glad that finally, they can see the beautiful smile on her face which they never see since the day they met her.

After that, they happily brought Iris with them to settle all of the formal things to change her family register. Since she is already past 18, it is easier for them and now the girl's name will be Iris Reid leaving her past buried forever.

"Okay, lil sis. Do you want to take my offer before? Teach you about the development?" Leo asked Iris in the car after everything finished.

"Sure, I want to ask you the same thing." Her answer gives a smile on Leo's face.

"Do you perhaps have any basis?"

Upon hearing the question, Iris remembered how she had always secretly used the staff computer before. She secretly learned about coding, programming and other things related to technology. Due to her having a photographic memory, she did not get caught because she can remember everything in a short time. She both hates and grateful that she has this ability because she suffered a lot because of this yet because of this too, she survives.

"I can do some coding" Leo and Lucas look at each other and smile.

"Now, that is my lil sis."

Since that day, Lucas gives Iris a laptop for her. The laptop is for her to do anything she wants. Studying, coding and anything, she can do anything because that is hers. Iris is thankful for that and uses it wisely for her learning. Leo also starts to teach her deeper about programming, developing a system, mobile applications, and so on. Iris being a fast learner absorbs everything without any problem.

Having seen her being happier day by day, makes Leo and Lucas want to keep making her smile but in a different way. One with brotherly love while another one with someone the owner himself does not know yet. However, both agreed on the same thing, that the monster family needs to be destroyed forever from its core.

While making sure Iris keeps getting better, they did not forget their plan to destroy the Reynolds family. They need to show everyone the real face behind that mask but they know it is not as easy as that. Even before, Leo almost got caught while getting the information about Iris and the secret of the Reynolds family. Now, they have to be more careful with a more precise plan for that.
