Chapter 10

Morning came quiet early and my phone for some odd reason wouldn't stop ringing I had to pick it anyhow and it was Chang, "Hey did you forget we had an important quiz today you better get here immediately the lecturer isn't really too happy this morning..." I didn't allow him to finish when I cut the call and off my phone I was way too weak to worry about class if I had to miss some dumb quiz then so be it. The real question for me was: "WHAT HAPPENED BETWEEN ME AND TAEHYUNG"? I immediately checked my side but he wasn't there I decided to check myself... my clothes were still on although it was my night wear but then it means nothing happened because I was in my room safely but how did I get here I remember me and him having a couple of drinks but couldn't remember the rest, my mind was so blank why couldn't I remember to be sure nothing happened. While thinking about all this yeontan entered into my room and barked it showed he wanted my attention and that was when I noticed the bag of dog treats in his mouth and knew immediately he was hungry, no one had feed him yet and he must be hungry I checked the time only to realize it was really late 10:30am in the morning I really had missed half of school, I knew I had to skip school and just get prepared for work then Tan's bark came again distracting me from my thoughts I smiled sweetly at him and took the dog treats from him carried him up and went all the way to the kitchen to prepare his and his master's food (it was a normal thing for me to prepare Taehyung's meal) to me it was a ritual I had to keep as his wife and someone who really cared for him. After making sure tan was eating I began making breakfast for me and Taehyung when I heard hurried foot step coming all the way to the kitchen and Taehyung came in I was about greeting him good morning when he came in front of me and asked if anything happened between us yesterday, at first I was annoyed because he couldn't answer or say a simple greeting I didn't answer him and continued with what I was doing but he grabbed my arm and demanded an answer from me, Tan must have noticed the hostility and tension growing between us because he immediately barked at Taehyung as a way of telling him to leave me alone(I guess) which for some reason it worked I on the other hand was very annoyed and angry which made me turn of the stove and stopped everything about breakfast that morning and after which I walked away from him, before I went upstairs I turned and told him he shouldn't worry about the both of us because nothing happened... and with that I walked away I didn't bother eating breakfast that morning I just got dressed and left for work.
Days immediately turned into weeks and then into two months which led me to start counting down the remaining month to our divorce it wasn't something I was looking forward to but it was for the best for him and for me most especially because I needed to stay away from him so I wouldn't have to grow to hate him, don't get me wrong Taehyung wasn't a bad person I just needed to stay away from him before I became obsessed or maybe crazy because the love I had for him was beginning to grow way out of my control and there was nothing I could do about it so this divorce was really important for me. Seven months had passed already with us being together and it remained just a month before our divorce and then it would be all over, on a certain day though while at work I had just finished some important assignments given to me when I felt really faint, dizzy and lightheaded and was about to pass out when someone held me and it was Chang "Are you okay" he asked "you nearly passed out just now" I nodded slightly to reassure him that I was okay, it wasn't the first time something like this was happening it had been going on for a month and I couldn't really put a finger on what was really happening to me maybe I had been overstressing myself lately, "you need to check yourself" Ann said coming from the other end of the office "you really don't look good so take it easy"I smiled softly at her as I got away from the hands of Chang still holding me " Am okay guys ", I said while trying not to fall again" I just... I just need to get something to drink then I will be much better", I said while getting away from them to get myself something to drink. At the vending machine while trying to fix myself a cup of coffee I don't know what happened but it definitely felt like someone hit me really hard on the head because the next thing I knew was that I was on the floor and someone kept calling and asking me to get up but I couldn't and eventually the voice faded and I lost consciousness.
When I eventually woke up I found myself in the hospital it didn't take me much to realize it because the smell of drugs was what greeted me when I woke up and the drip attached to my arm seemed to really answer most of my questions, I tried to get up but couldn't because I still was very weak I definitely must be sick because I have never felt like this in a long time while still on my own thoughts a nurse walked into my room and smiled brightly at me and asked how I was feeling I told her a little bit better but still weak that was when she smiled again and said it must be the effect of the drugs been given to me, I asked her if I was sick and why I was been given drugs and how serious was it she smiled once again and said "No ma'am your not sick instead the drugs been given to you is more for your baby than you it's really lacking alot of nutrients that's why you fainted you haven't really been taking good care of yourself..." I didn't allow her to finish when I got up and suddenly grabbed and asked her what she said, "your pregnant ma'am.... a month actually.... didn't you know...",she said why stuttering maybe because of fear of the way I grabbed her, I immediately let her go and touched my stomach slowly trying to feel... for it, doing this brought back memories of that night and I immediately gasped "Am pregnant!?".
