Sasuke x reader

Chapter 16

/yn pov/
The next morning I woke up and decided to go have breakfast outside for a change. I was sitting at a small shop eating, when naruto came and sat beside me. Followed by Sakura and then sasuke. I was looking for some quiet but I guess some company doesn't hurt.
We started to discuss about the upcoming round one of the chunnin exams and planned  how we're going to proceed further. There were still three days to the exam and we heard that it was a written test so our main focus was on Naruto.
So all day we did nothing but try to teach naruto some theory and make him memorise but even though we tried so many methods we got no results. I mean he was trying his best but ...
We decided to just give up and go home to get some rest. Sakura and naruto parted ways while me and sasuke walked in the same direction (cause we liv in the same building ). It was awkward but no one was saying anything so it was bearable.

We both reached home and parted ways as well but just as we were about to enter our apartments we heard a really loud scream. We immediately ran in the direction of the voice only to find a bunch of shurikens lying around with traces of blood on them.

/sasuke pov/
We looked at each other and then looked at the pile of shurikens with a somewhat confused look. I found a trail of blood leading into the woods and told yn about it. We took out our kunais  and followed the trail.
We were pretty deep in the forest when the trail just ended. I was kind of annoyed and went to search around and behind the plants and trees. We found nothing and ultimately decided to go back home at get some sleep. I looked over at yn and finally broke the silence by asking her if she wanted to train together tomorrow. She said yes and we headed home.

/Author pov/
As both, yn and sasuke were walking home sasuke stopped before ichirakus to get some ramen and another shop to get ice cream. He then asked yn if she wanted to eat as well. Yn was hungry and who says no to free food so she said "alright" and sasuke with a light smirk on his face said "Follow me and see if you can keep up" and darted forward.

/yn pov\
I was bored so I raced after sasuke to catch up w him. We had a bowl of ramen and then went looking for open ice cream shops. Almost all of them were closed cause it was pretty late but finally, we found one that was open. The shopkeeper was really sweet and gave us our cones. Sasuke ate black currant and I had an Irish coffee.
I hadn't had ice cream in so long but it tasted like heaven. We walked home with ice cream in our hands discussing how Naruto was going to pass the exam. We ultimately concluded that naruto will figure something out himself and that there was nothing more we could do.
After that Sasuke started talking about how much of an annoying brat naruto is and I couldn't help but laugh.
We finally reached our apartment building and went to our rooms.

/Sasuke pov/
I had a good time. I feel completely different when I hang out with yn Ngl, in a good way, but I hated the ice cream. I don't even like black Current I just did not want yn to know that I actually like toothpast- uh I mean, mint flavor.
Anyway, I was kind of tired so I went to bed. I need to get up early tomorrow for training.
