(Smut, Fluff)

Tired.

That's all that Asami felt after leaving work.

With meetings, plans, and concerns of existing buildings after the war with Kuvira, there wasn't any time for her to relax or even sleep some nights.

The same is for Korra, but even then, Korra has days off. She gets her work done faster, that's how she's always been with meetings and overall "Avatar duties".

As Asami was driving home, she thought about Korra, and how they have been working together, the vacation, her lips, her touch, her-

She shook her head and tried to focus back on the road. Yet, her mind starts to wonder once more, thinking about the first time they slept together.

It took time, as it should. They both talked about what they wanted or what they didn't want. They talked about anything that could spice it up or make them more aroused. At the end, Asami was speechless with Korra's confidence. She loved seeing her being so accepting of herself, and Asami loved her for everything Korra did for her.

Not before long, Asami arrived home and instantly turned off the engine. She rested her head against the wheel, closed her eyes, and sighed. Even just thinking about it, it made butterflies go rampant in her stomach. Her core was begging for Korra's touch.
She sat up and opened the car door, getting out of the automobile and closing the door. She stretched her arms over her head and headed to the front door.

As soon as she opened the door, she was met with a sense of relaxation.

"Hey!" Korra jotted over, wearing her usual attire. A blue t-shirt with the sleeves cut off, a fur belt at the hem of her pants, brown boots, and wraps around her forearms and running down to her hands.

She gave Asami a welcoming hug, which she gave into instantly. She buried her face into Korra's shoulder, making the tan girl hum in worry.

"Rough day?" She asked. Asami simply nodded her head.

"How long have you been home?" Asami muttered.

Korra shrugged a tiny bit. "Not long. I just got done feeding Naga and I heard the door open, so I came running in here to see you."

Asami sighed into Korra's neck and soon departed from her lover's embrace.

"How was your day?" Asami asked.

Korra smiled. "It was great! The Airbenders are getting stronger too! Jinora's spirit energy is getting a lot stronger," she laughed. "She might be better than me!"

Korra cleared her throat. "But, we're getting good progress in. We're rebuilding a lot of the city, but some Earth benders from the Earth Kingdom are volunteering and making the process a lot faster."

Asami smiled. "That's good,"

"What about you?" Korra asked.

Asami's sighed, her shoulders dropping. "Hell on wheels," she joked.

Korra frowned. "Come on, let's sit down and talk, okay? Do you want anything?"

She shook her head. "I'm okay," she grabbed Korra's hand. "Come on,"

Korra grinned and followed Asami to the couch, letting Asami lean against her and wrapping her arms around her lover's waist. Asami's tense body instantly relaxed in Korra's arms.

"Raiko wants more security devices around the city, make more roads and more safety buildings." She closed her eyes. "I discussed to him that funding is a problem and workers aren't getting paid enough for this kind of work, but he fired it back at me."
