AUTHORSNOTE: this is happening before chapter 15 and almost right after chapter 14!
Canada woke up early, to get some training in before they set out on the search for America. He and the others would have to leave soon. That may have been a good and bad thing, faster they get to his brother, the faster he would be okay.
Canada was startled by a voice from somewhere in the training room. "Hi." It said. Canada turned around, quick and defensive. He wasn't the type of person you wanted to get into a fight with, he was tall and strong, very capable of murder.
The other, who happened to be China, leaning against the wall with his arms crossed, laughed. "Calm down Kanada, it is only me." China said in a purr. Canada had come to tolerate the Chinese man, he was going to have to anyway. Canada kept his eyes on him, slowly getting out of stance.
"Oh, hello China. Can I.. assist you?" Canada asked, grabbing his towel and wiping the sweat from his forehead. China chuckled and sighed, getting up from his position and tossing Canada his water bottle.
"Ah, I assumed you would be up here, I wanted to check on you before the mission." China said, walking over to Canada. Canada was taller than him by a little, but China was taller than his brother. Canada looked down at him, and raised his eyebrow.
China clicked his tongue. "I hope you know," he started, crossing the room. "I only want your brother safe. We used to be good friends, best friends, as you seem to be aware.." China said, walking towards the training equipment and behind Canada, so that their backs were facing each other.
"I am still very fond of him. It will be comforting to see him again, maybe hold him for moments. I do hope he is okay, he never could hold his own very well, that silly little one." China said, a smirk forming on his face. America also had very good economic potential.
Canada looked to the floor, his brother had confided in him about the twos past, but the way China talked about him made it hard to believe anything like that actually happened. But, at the same time, the way China spoke of his brother didn't sit right with him. It made his gut churn, and a queasy feeling arise in him.

Canada slung his bag very his shoulder, his survival stuff in there. He stroked the head of his horse, Clause, a few times and sighed. He was somewhat nervous about the trip, but was determined. He had about five men with him, the trip was not to last more than three months, despite Australia's protests.
China came behind him and set his hand on Canada's shoulder, giving him a somewhat reassuring smile, but it looked like he was worried as well. Canada returned the smile out if habit and got on the horse. China got into his own, as did the four others. Britain and France, along with the twins, stood outside to bid them farewell.
Australia nodded to Canada, their silent agreement that Canada would go all the way to Eurasia. Canada nodded to his father, who looked stern, but his face cracked and he offered a smile. Canada gently smiled back. His mother hugged him, his sister held his hand and murmured some possible locations, disguised as prayers.
As the group rode off into the forest, early morning, Canada had a feeling that something wasn't right. He turned to look at his men, all determined looks on their face, even China. Except something lay behind Chinas eyes, he just couldn't tell what.

They had made it to the middle of Europe soon, the place of the European castle, setting up camp in a nearby forest. Canada had dismissed himself to ask around of sight of the prince. Canada came to another large castle, a busy village surrounding it. He smiled at some of the familiar villagers.
He walked up to the castle, to see Germany and Monaco chatting. Monaco twirled her hair around her finger, flustered by something Germany was saying. He did have a charm, after all. Monaco was but a higher servant in the castle, her small and thin figure making her one of the shortest housemaids in the European castle.
Monaco spotted Canada and waved. Some of the more powerful figures in the kingdom, such as Germany, Spain, and even his mother France, had taken a liking to her, so they promoted her to only serve the higher people. She was basically a princess.
"Hello, Canada!" She said, running up to him and hugging him. Canada laughed and hugged her as well, having to bend down quite a bit. She stepped back from him and gasped. "You grow an inch every time I see you!" She said playfully.
"Maybe you shrink, eh? Hello Canada." Germany said, coming up behind Monaco, his accent prominent. "What brings you here?" Germany asked, his eyebrows raising. Canada sheepishly looked away.
"Have you seen America? Me and my party set out looking for him and-" Canada started, his words coming out quietly. Germany and Monaco shared a look of knowledge and uncertainty, at least until Germany heard that last part. "Wait, you are staying in the forest, yes? No, that will not suffice. Bring your men and settle in the castle." Germany said, in a stern but friendly tone. Monaco nodded.
Canada smiled, and laughed. "Alright. We will stay for the night." Canada said, boarding his horse and riding off to go and get his men. The people of Europe quite liked him, being Britain's kid. His mother, France, belonged to this kingdom. His father was exempt because he was a kingdom in his own. He turned around to see for Germany, and saw Italy dragging him inside, linking his arm and giving him a scary look. Monaco just looked nervous.

Inside the castle, China was quick to head to the room they had provided, while Canada stayed behind a little. He wanted to chat with his friends, and maybe see Ukraine around. He had been in the Eurasian Kingdom for the longest time, but after a while he started spending more time in the European Kingdom, as one of the Kings and a Royal Nurturer.
Canada had all of the sudden thought about his friend, Mexico, who was always so spunky and throwing parties. He wished to visit her soon. But no matter how nice the people of Europe were to him, or how much he thought about his friend, he still had his brother prodding in the back of his head. He wouldn't stop.
