"Do you know where he is taking you?" Anita asked the following week as Kinsley was getting ready for her date.

"No, it's a surprise. He just told me to dress nice when I asked."

"This is exciting, it's about time you got some action."

Kinsley laughed, "I'm not sleeping with him. Besides he knows what's up. I made it clear to him what the situation is. He would be a fool to try anything."

"Fair, but if you need help, give me a call and I'll come cut off his dick for you."

"Thanks Anita, you're the best friend a girl could have."

"I know," she grinned back at Kinsley.

Phil came to pick her up and he brought her to a black town car. "Very fancy," Kinsley said.

"Only the best for you," Phil responded, "I made reservations at a high end restaurant. Very hard to get into. I had to pull strings."

"Oh, okay, well thanks. I look forward to trying it."

Conversation flowed nicely between them and Kinsley felt at ease. The restaurant was situated on the lake front and was one of the nicest places she had ever ate in. However she definitely felt out of place and would of much preferred a burger from a fast food joint but she was willing to give this a chance. Phil was a gentlemen through the meal and afterwards he asked if she wanted to go for a walk along the boardwalk. Kinsley agreed and he asked if he could hold her hand. She agreed again. Kinsley was very impressed with his manners. He asked before jumping to assumptions and she was quite happy with that. The air was cool and crisp.

"Thank you for coming out with me tonight Kinsley. I really enjoyed it."

"Yeah, me too. It was fun. The food was better than I thought it would be," she replied. They gazed at each other for a moment.

Phil grinned at her. "Can I kiss you?"

Kinsley nodded his head. He came close to her and kissed her gently on the lips. They broke away and smiled at each other.

"Hey, I know a bar nearby. They have great drinks. Want to go have one?"

"Sure, why not. I'm down to make this night go longer."

"Cool, let's go." Phil grabbed her hand and brought to her a bar that had seen better days.

"Is this safe here?" Kinsley questioned.

"Oh yeah, I come here all the time. It doesn't look like much but the drinks are amazing."

"Okay, I trust you. Let's go have a drink." Kinsley however couldn't shake the feeling that something was off. They sat at the bar and he ordered a whiskey on the rocks and she ordered a long island ice tea.

"This is a good drink. Really good actually," Kinsley said.

"Yeah, they have awesome drinks."

"I have to go to washroom, watch my stuff?"

"Sure, I'll protect it with my life," Phil said.

Kinsley giggled, "You're crazy." He winked at her as she walked to the washroom. Kinsley used the washroom and as she was washing her hands she looked at herself in the mirror. Her face was flushed and she could feel a headache coming on. "No more drinks for me," she muttered, "I'll stick with water."

She came back out of the washroom and Phil motioned to a drink. "I ordered a similar drink for you since you seemed to like the first one so much."

"Oh, thanks but I'm good. I'm just going to stick with water. I have a headache coming on and drinking will just make it worse."
