Later that day, Trevor's fingers flew over the keyboards as he pulled up their next target. They were hired to break into Knight enterprises. Knight enterprises was a secure, top of line facility that held high end tech not yet released to the general public. Their job this time was to get into the security system and turn off the camera's and deactivate the rest of the security features while the people who hired them broke in and took what they came to get.

Before Trevor met Kinsley he had already set up a name for himself in the dark web. He was one of the best in the area. He was expensive to hire but always got the job done. He decided to live a very simple life as not to draw attention to himself. Most of the money he got went into offshore bank accounts. Once he met Kinsley and saw she had a knack for learning he taught her what he knew and Kinsley gave him a run for his money. She was a natural.

Kinsley went out to grab the ear pieces that would connect them to the people who hired them. Real names were never given out. Trevor was known as the Phoenix in the computer world and that is what people called him. Kinsley came back and dropped the ear pieces on the desk. She let out a sigh as she sat beside him.

Trevor glanced over at her and gave her a quick kiss on the forehead, "What's up butterfly?"

Kinsley smiled at him, "Nothing, I'm just tired. Busy night," she said as she yawned. Trevor smirked and turned his attention back to the screen. Kinsley started up another computer and pulled up the blueprints of the facility, marking the area's where the people would need to be cautious and sent it to them.

"Kinsley, see if you can get access into their network,  we need to leave a path, it will be easier for us tonight if so."

Kinsley nodded and started creating back doors and pathways that will help protect them if something were to get wrong. A couple hours later Kinsley groaned and put her head on the table.

"What's going on?"

"This security system is ridiculous, every time I think I get somewhere, I get booted out and have to find another pathway. Thankfully I have been able to bypass any alarms. I think I need to get close to the source. I have an idea but it will require me to be in sight of the building."

Trevor glanced at her, "If you think that's what you need to do, I support it. I trust you Kinsley."

"Ill take the portables and pretend to be a passerby. I'm sure there is a bench or something I can sit on. I don't want to look suspicious."

"You're too gorgeous to ever be a suspicious person," Trevor grinned.

Kinsley rolled her eyes and giggled as she packed up. She grabbed a ear piece so that she and Trevor could stay in touch. Trevor was going to stay behind and continue working getting in from their end. Kinsley gave him a kiss goodbye and Trevor smacked her butt causing her to yelp as she walked out. Kinsley gave him one more smile and than was gone.

Kinsley set up fairly close to the facility. She opened the laptop and went to try her idea. An hour later she finally got in. "Yes," she silently cheered inside. She started to leave a hidden pathway to make it easier to get in and out. With any luck their security team won't know a thing. As Kinsley was finalizing it, an alarm started going off.

"Shit, shit, shit," she muttered to herself as she flew over the keyboard. She went to silence it, hoping she got to it before anyone knew what was happening. "Damn it, I've worked too hard for this. I refuse to leave until I get the backdoor secure."

"Kinsley, what's wrong?" she could hear Trevor over the ear piece.

"I don't know, everything was going well and I must of hit some hidden alarm or something because I'm using everything at my disposal to stay in and contain it."
