A former clergyman's (unconscious) checklist
☑delete every piece of themselves from their previous homes (no scandals here please)
☑ find a place to stay, which should be definitely far, far away from their homes (cannot live within the ecclesiastical boundaries of former diocese)
☑ learn basic household chores, because this time, they're all left alone (because no more cook, no more driver, no more pag-uutusan na sakristan, no more kasama)
☑ find a new job (which is not easy, because what industry needs Theology and Philosophy and Canon Law?); and
in case this is not the reason for leaving,
☑ find someone to love.
