"Alton Towers is a well-known, highly popular amusement park within the middle of England, and one of the few in the world which gave detailed, fleshed-out stories to the rides populating the park. From the haunting history of the wooden Wicker Man to the terrifying tales of Thirteen, each major roller coaster within the park has its own fictious story, including the Smiler. However, Baz, Lewis, Will, Ryan and Rhys soon realise that the ride's "Ministry of Joy," is far more than a ghost story."

· Bold indicated a word with a very large amount of emphasis attached to it.

· If you see "<=o<=o<=o<=O=>o=>o=>o=>" this is an indication that a time skip has taken place.

Additional Notes:

To OlivesButterflies,

The concept of being, "marmalised," by the Smiler is certainly interesting, but incredibly unrealistic. How could robotic arms be quick and precise enough to interact with people who are on a ride going dozens of miles per hour round twists and turns, without anyone noticing them, in less than two minutes?

With this in mind, I took a different approach to the story. What if the ride wasn't the part responsible for the marmalisation process? What if the Smiler was just a front? A mask? A distraction?

What if the real thing to worry about was what the Smiler was hiding?

Enjoy!
