🦋 - aftercare

Rafe lies next to me, both lying on the bed trying to get our breath back.
"You okay?" He asked me for the millionth time. I'm not complaining at all, if anything it's amazing because he reassures me that he actually cares about me.
"Yeah, you?"
"Yeah." He gets up and picks me up a robe to wear for the time being.
We lie for a while talking about random things. I love when we do this. Our conversation never goes dead because one of us always fills the silence or one of us always think of something to say.

"Right you ready?"
"What? No I'm not ready for round two."
"No stupid, I mean let's go shower." He says.
"Oh ok." I say laughing.
"I just want to get into bed, watch movies and cuddle with you right now." He says grabbing my hand guiding me off the bed.
"That sounds amazing." I reply.
He sets the shower on the right temperature while I get us towels. I walk back into the bathroom and place the towels on the side whilst Rafe is washing his hair. I open the curtain and step in and his face smiles as he looks at me.
"What?" I say slightly laughing.
"You're just so fucking beautiful." He says. It's impossible for me to hide my smile. He pulls me close and let's the water run through my hair.

He washes the shampoo in my roots and I wash it out with the water. He then applies the conditioner to the ends and I wash it out too. He squeezes the body wash onto a loofah and he rubs it around my body. He kept tickling me making me laugh.
"No Rafe stop it." I say laughing trying to fight him off. He laughs at mt failed attempts because i'm so weak and he's strong.

I take the loofah off him and repeat what he did to me to him. Except for I don't tickle him because I know he will get me back way worse. When we are both done he steps out wrapping a towel around his waist and wrapping a towel around my body.
"There you go." He says kissing my forehead.
"Thank you." I say smiling at him. He rubs my cheek with his thumb.

We brush our teeth and he gets one of his shirts and shorts for me to wear seeing as I forgot to bring my night wear to his house. We both get dressed and we get into bed cuddling and he turns the TV on.
"That feels amazing." I say getting comfy. I lie my head on his chest and he wraps one of his arms around me.

"So what are we watching?" He asks as he skims through Netflix.
"Cmon you already know." I say looking up at him. He rolls his eyes.
"No." He says strongly.
"Cmon, please." I beg.
"No absolutely not."
"Rafe cmon."
"We have watched that movie like a billion times." He complains.
I look at him deep into his eyes, I just know i'm going to get my own way.

"Fine, we will watch The Do Over."
"Don't roll your eyes. You love that movie admit it."
"Never." He says smirking before putting it on.

He strokes my hair and I feel myself falling asleep after only half an hour.
"I love you." He whispers.
"I love you too." I mumble back before falling asleep.

i wrote this chapter because i feel like i need to make it known how important receiving after care is because after being so close with someone like that, taking care of them and looking after them is so important because it reassures them you care and love them and are also not using them which may i emphasise you should never do. that's just my opinion anyway but i hope you all enjoyed.💗
